Cam Steady is a nerdcore rapper and multi-genre recording artist from Los Angeles, California. Known for high energy music that fuses hip-hop, EDM, and heavy metal, his unique style quickly resonated with online audiences.
Cam Steady found his early success on YouTube with the series “Video Game Rap Battles”, where he pinned two video game characters together in comedic, animated rap battles. On release, “Super Mario vs Sonic the Hedgehog”, “Minecraft vs Terraria”, and “Five Nights at Freddy’s vs Slenderman”, were among the fastest growing songs in the nerdcore battle rap genre.
Since then, Cam Steady has headlined performances at sold out events like Nerdcore Party Con, MAGFest, Anime Expo, Momocon, and more. Steady’s live concert success lead him to form the Nerdcore tour group “Anime Rap Takeover”, where Cam Steady headlines alongside nerdcore artists like Rustage, NerdOut, GameboyJones, Chi-Chi, and more.

I am beyond proud to announce that I’ll be appearing on the official Pokemon World Championships ‘25 albums!
I’ll be releasing 3 original songs with Pokemon and wrote on a 4th!
This year’s album is stacked with new original tracks from icons in the community like NateWantsToBattle, Toastymarshmellow, Anna Prosser and Chi-Chi — plus powerhouse vocals from The Voice finalist Michelle Ray. After putting our heart and soul into this project over the past 6 months, we finally get to share it with you! I am so excited to announce that I’ll be appearing on 3 new songs with Pokemon, and I got to write for a 4th!
It’s no secret how big of a role Pokemon has played in my life, friendships, and career. I fell in love with the series in second grade, created countless songs based on the games, and met some of my greatest friends through this scene.
To the fans, collaborators, and friends that contributed to this beautiful community, thank you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for sharing the same passion I always had for music and Pokemon. This is all because of you!
