CrazyEightyEight is a post-hardcore trio formed in 2017 that features vocalist Lauren Babic, guitarist Jarrod Alonge and bassist Patty Walters. Jarrod joined forces with Lauren to create the initial releases, which included the 'No Words Spoken' EP and a compilation of cover songs. Patty joined shortly after, contributing to the single "Shinebox." Their debut full-length album 'Burning Alive' was self-released in December of 2018 following a successful Kickstarter campaign, marking a shift from short-form projects into a more cohesive body of work.

The band remains fully independent, giving them full creative control over their music production and distribution. CrazyEightyEight is a testament to the Internet Age, with each member residing in a different country and producing new music remotely. Despite each members' involvement in other established bands, CrazyEightyEight operates as a distinct entity, maintaining a strong focus on post-hardcore and alternative music.
