Strongward
Strongward, a long-term disaster recovery organization, works to address the unmet needs beyond disaster response. We help low-income homeowners rebuild and fortify their homes at no cost, advise communities on preparedness and resilience, and strengthen the systems on which long-term disaster recovery depends, so that all families and communities can emerge stronger than before. Formerly known as SBP, Strongward was founded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
