"OBEDIENCE TO GOD"

Acts 5:29

"But Peter and the other apostles answered, saying, 'We ought to obey God rather than men.'"

In life, we are often faced with the dilemma of loyalty. We want to be good, well-liked, secure, and obedient to existing rules, whether they be social rules, workplace culture, or even peer pressure.

Being "obedient" often feels safer than being "rebellious." However, the apostles give us an absolute moral compass through this verse.

There are times when the demands of the world around us clash directly with God's will. When the world asks us to compromise with dishonesty, to remain silent about injustice, or to hide our faith for the sake of convenience, that is where the line must be drawn.

The apostles are not teaching us to be anti-government or rebellious without cause, but rather to respect the government. However, this verse asks us to emphasize Our commitment to obedience. Human authority has its limits, while God's authority is absolute.

We must have the courage to say "no" to the world's currents that lead us away from God's word, but we must learn to obey and remain more obedient to God.

When we choose to live in obedience to God, the stakes may be our comfort, our reputation, or even our security. But putting God above all else is the only path to true inner peace.

Because in the end, the approval of the Creator of the universe is far more valuable than the applause of the world.
Praise God for His word.

"THE REAL SOURCE OF UNDECEASING"

Matthew 15:10-11

"Then Jesus called the crowds to him and said to them, 'Listen and understand: It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this is what defiles a person.'"

In Jesus' time, the rabbis and Pharisees were very strict about maintaining external laws, including the ritual of washing hands before eating. For them, the purity of life was measured by outward appearance and adherence to traditional customs.

However, through this passage, Jesus reversed that perspective with a radical and straightforward statement. Jesus asserted that what enters the mouth—namely, food—cannot defile a person spiritually because it only enters the stomach and is then excreted. In contrast, it is what "COMES" out of the mouth that has the power to defile. Why? Because what comes out of our mouths reflects what's in our hearts.

Our mouths are the mouthpiece of our spiritual condition. When someone is filled with hatred, bitterness, lies, or arrogance, the words that come out of their lips will be gossip, curses, destructive criticism, and complaints. These are the things that defile us, damaging our relationship with God and others.

Often, as Christians, we get caught up in "OUTER GODSHIP." We feel we're living righteously just because we attend church regularly, are active in ministry, or dress neatly and politely. However, Jesus reminds us to examine what's hidden in our hearts.

Are our daily words—whether at home, at work, or on social media—bringing blessings or becoming stumbling blocks? Guarding our mouths means we must first guard our hearts. If our hearts are filled with God's Word, love, and gratitude, then the words that come out of our mouths will be words that build us up, heal us, and glorify His name.

Let's take a moment to examine ourselves. Pay attention to every word we say. Before speaking or typing something on social media, ask yourself: "Are these words constructive? Are they born from a heart of love, or from ego and anger?"

Ask the Holy Spirit to guard our lips and purify our hearts from all wrong motives.

"ONLY THROUGH JESUS"

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

These words were spoken by Jesus in an atmosphere filled with both warmth and anxiety, for it was the last night before His crucifixion.

The disciples were confused, afraid, and felt lost because Jesus said He was leaving. Thomas even asked, "Lord, we don't know where You are going; so how can we know the way?" In the midst of this anxiety,

Jesus gave an answer that soothes our souls to this day:

"I AM THE WAY."

He made Himself the way. When we are lost in making decisions or have lost our direction in life, come to the Lord Jesus. He will guide us through our journey because He is the way.

"I AM THE TRUTH"

Many people feel they have their own truth, but the absolute truth that sets us free is Jesus alone. Knowing Jesus means being free from the falsehood and pretense of life.

"I AM THE LIFE"

Without Jesus, we might exist physically but die spiritually. He offers a life filled with abundance, peace, and the assurance of salvation that transcends physical death.

The statement "NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME"

This statement reminds us of one important thing: "A relationship with Jesus is not merely about religion." Jesus is the only bridge connecting sinful humanity with the holy Father.

Salvation is not the result of our own groping our way to heaven, but rather the result of His grace, which came down to earth to receive us.

If today we feel tired or empty, listen to His voice again. We do not walk alone. There is Jesus who guides our journey through life, if we are willing to come and trust in Him alone.

He is not just a guide, but He is the way itself. Praise be to God!!

Lord Jesus bless you. 🍎✝️❤️🕎🔥✡️ #lordjesus

"TRUE FAITH"

Daniel 3:17-18

"If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, he will deliver us from the fiery furnace, and from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up."

The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego gives us a much deeper perspective on what true faith is. When the king threatened to throw them into the fiery furnace, they did not doubt God's power.

There are two important things we can reflect on from their attitude:

"FULL SURRENDER FAITH"

The phrase "if our God is able to deliver us, he will deliver us from the fiery furnace" shows their complete confidence that God is all-powerful; they did not doubt God's power in the slightest.

However, the maturity of their faith was tested in the next sentence, "But if not, let my lord know, O king, that we will not worship my lord's god, nor will we worship the golden image that my lord has set up."

They understand that God's power cannot be controlled by humans, God is fully sovereign, losing one's life in the fire is not proof that God failed, but is part of His mysterious plan.

"UNCONDITIONAL LOYALTY"

For these three young people, obedience to God is a fixed price, and not a transaction. They do not worship God to be saved, but because He is the only one worthy of worship.

Their faith is not dependent on circumstances or outcomes. Very often people are tempted and say: "God, if you heal my illness, if my business is successful, etc. then I will diligently worship, I will give thanks." But the faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego teaches us to say, "Lord, even if You don't answer my prayer as I expect, I will still worship You."

In this life, we may be faced with our own "fireplace," whether through financial problems, illness, or environmental pressures that force us to compromise our faith.

Let's learn from the faith of these three young men by instilling the principle that true faith doesn't focus on "what God can give us," but on "who God is for our lives."

Have a resilient faith that remains faithful, even when God seems "silent" or "says no." For He remains the good God and sovereign over our lives.

"JOY IN HEAVEN"

Luke 15:10

"In the same way, I tell you, there will be joy among the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
Luke 15:10

Our world often celebrates grandiose achievements: victory in a major competition, the launch of the latest technology, or the accumulation of immense wealth. When these things happen, the cheers of humanity resound everywhere.

But have we ever considered what makes all of heaven roar with joy? In Luke chapter 15, the Lord Jesus gives us a glimpse into what moves God's heart and makes the angels in heaven rejoice.

Interestingly, heaven doesn't throw a party over someone's financial success or great worldly accomplishments. The greatest party in heaven occurs when "One Sinner Repents." "THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL"

Before reciting verse 10, Jesus told the parable of a woman who lost a coin. She lit a lamp, swept the house, and searched diligently until she found it. When she found it, she called her friends and neighbors to join her in rejoicing.

The woman focused not on the nine coins still in her hand, but on the "ONE" that was missing. This illustrates the heart of God. To God, you and I are not just numbers in a crowd of billions.

We are personally valuable in His eyes. One lost soul—one sin-bound, broken, and distant soul—is so precious that heaven stops all its activities to celebrate its return.

"THE MEANING OF REPENTANCE" Repentance (in Greek: "METANOIA") means a change of mind, direction, and heart. It is not simply a feeling of guilt or crying out of regret, but a decision to make a 180-degree turn from the path of sin to the path of God.

Many people feel they are too dirty, too far gone in sin, or no longer worthy of forgiveness. Through Luke 15:10, Jesus demolishes the devil's lies. No matter how deep a person has fallen, when a broken heart turns to the Father, heaven does not greet them with judgment or accusing fingers. Heaven welcomes them with warm embraces and shouts of joy.

"A REFLECTION FOR US"

Today's reflection carries two important messages for our lives:

1. For Those of Us Who Are Far Away: If today you feel lost, filled with guilt, or bound by a particular sin, know that the Father is waiting for you to come home. Don't delay. Your step of repentance today is the reason for the greatest celebration in Heaven.

2. For Us as His Church: Are our hearts aligned with God's? Often we are more busy judging sinners than loving and leading them to repentance. Let's have a burden for lost souls.
When we see someone repent, let's rejoice with the angels in heaven. One soul is precious in God's eyes.

Let's ensure our lives continue to walk in repentance every day, and let's be an extension of God's hands to bring other souls to experience the joy of salvation.

Today's Prayer: "Father in heaven, thank You for being a God of love and forgiveness. Thank You for seeing my soul as so precious. If there are things in my life that are still straying from You, search my heart and bring me back to Your path. Give me a heart that loves lost souls, so that my life can be used to bring joy to heaven. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen."

"NOT A RITUAL BUT A GRATEFUL HEART"

Psalm 50 : 7 - 15

"Offer thanks as a sacrifice to Allah and pay your vows to the Most High! Call on Me in times of trouble, I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me." Psalm 50:14-15

Have you ever given a gift to someone you love, but felt the gift was tasteless because it was done only out of obligation or formality? The taste is definitely very different from a gift given with sincerity and a twinkle of happiness in your eyes.

Through Psalm 50, God is speaking to His people in a very serious tone, like a Father who is clearing up His children's misunderstandings.

At that time, the Israelites were very diligent in bringing sacrificial animals to God's temple. They thought that by performing these religious rituals, God would be "satisfied" and "indebted" to them.

However, God surprised them by saying: "I do not need to take an ox from your house... for every animal of the field is mine" (verses 9-10). God reminded them that He does not need food or drink from humans.

He is the Creator of the universe; He lacks nothing! So, what does God really want from us? The answer is found in verse 14: "Offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to God." What God desires is not empty religious routine, but "a heart that recognizes His goodness."

Why is gratitude called a "sacrifice"? Because gratitude often requires us to subdue our ego. When things are good, our ego often whispers that it is all due to our greatness. Conversely, when things are bad, our flesh tends to complain.

This is where gratitude becomes a "sacrifice," a deliberate decision to see God's hand at work in every situation. God continues in verse 15 with a very beautiful promise: "Call on Me in time of trouble, and I will deliver you..." This shows how much God longs for intimate relationships.

He does not position Himself as a "boss" who demands tribute, but rather as a "Father who is ready to help" when His children are in trouble. When we cry out to Him in trouble and He helps us, that is where His name is glorified through the testimony of our lives.

Today, let's reexamine our motivation in following God. Do we do our daily service, prayer and worship just as a routine to feel safe? Or does it all flow from a heart full of gratitude because we know He has first loved and saved us?

God does not seek perfection of our rituals; He seeks our sincerity.

God Bless.🔥🍎✝️

"BUILDING THE TEMPLE OF GOD"

1 Corinthians 3:10-23

The strength of a building depends greatly on its foundation. To build a foundation, we must understand the purpose of the building.

For example, for a building to remain strong during an earthquake, we need an earthquake-resistant foundation. If a proper foundation is so important for a physical structure, what was the foundation of the Temple?

Paul was the church pioneer in Corinth. This is evident when he recounts that he had laid a foundation in accordance with God's grace, namely, Jesus Christ.

Other spiritual leaders who succeeded Paul used different materials, but they built on the same foundation (10-12). What were they building? The Temple of God, specifically the church. It was in them that the Holy Spirit dwelt (16).

He reminded them that all service will be accounted for before God (13). Those who build and whose work endures will receive a reward (14). However, those whose work fails to stand the test will suffer loss (15), and those who destroy the temple of God will face destruction (17).

Paul calls himself a skilled builder because he uses the strongest foundation and the most durable materials. Christ is the foundation of a believer's faith, and believers are built not with worldly wisdom or pride, but with the wisdom of God and a sense of belonging to Christ (18-23).

Everyone responds differently after receiving the gospel. Whatever our response, all will be tested by God. This should not be taken lightly. It is important for us to respond to God's word with God's wisdom.

Every time we attend church, remember that the church is a unified temple where God dwells. This is the purpose for which the church was built: to be the unified body of Christ.

Let us continue to open our hearts to being built by God through the work of the Holy Spirit. Let Christ continue to be the foundation of our faith and life. Let us continue to grow like a solid and resilient building.

May God help us to hold fast to our faith amidst the turmoil of life.

God bless. Amen🔥✝️

"BE MATURE!"

1 Corinthians 3:1-9

A person's maturity is not measured solely by their age. True maturity is demonstrated by the maturity of their thinking and behavior. The same is true of the spiritual maturity of believers.

The Corinthian church did not demonstrate spiritual maturity (1-2). This was evidenced by envy, strife, and a mutual boasting of being superior (3-4).

Paul reminded them that he and the other spiritual leaders were God's servants and fellow workers (5-9). God was their leader. This meant they had no reason to envy or boast. Undeniably, strife is a sign of immaturity.

A spiritually mature person will not easily envy or even boast. All are equal in God's eyes, and all belong to God. He can use anyone to spread the Gospel of Christ.

Believers should experience spiritual growth to mature in Christ. Those who grow spiritually are seen in their attitudes. Instead of envy, they are humble, empathetic, and caring for others.

Furthermore, they avoid getting caught up in the differences that exist within the congregation. They remain united, aware that God has called them to different tasks.

Despite their differences, their goal is one: Christlikeness. Their focus is on God, not themselves or anyone else.

This kind of problem sometimes recurs in church life today. Divisions arise from selfishness and arrogance that idolize certain spiritual leaders, forgetting that Christ is the head of the church.

God built the church not for us to divide into separate groups, but for us to grow and mature together in knowing God.

We are called and sent into the world to bring unity and peace in Christ, not division.
Come, let's grow and mature!

God bless. Amen🔥✝️

"THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING GOD'S WISDOM"

1 Corinthians 2:6-16

There are so many unanswered questions about God. Many events can lead us to doubt the Gospel.

All of this can happen because we use our limited human wisdom. Paul emphasized that what he preached did not come from humans, but from God (6-7).

There are two human responses to God's wisdom.
First, those who reject that wisdom because they do not know it and are unable to understand it (8-9).

Second, those who accept it because God reveals His hidden wisdom to them (10). No matter how hard we try, humans cannot understand God.

Humans are limited, and the human spirit cannot know the Spirit of God (11). More precisely, humans cannot fathom God unless God Himself empowers them (12).

It is not surprising that many people reject the Gospel preached by the apostles. They relied on teachings derived from limited human reasoning (13-14). Instead, God granted revelation of the mystery of God's work of salvation to His chosen people.

Through the Holy Spirit, believers are empowered to discern and understand that salvation is a gift from God fulfilled through Jesus Christ (15-16).

There are many mysteries about God that we do not understand. In fact, we find it difficult to understand His will for our lives.

Often, we use our own wisdom to understand God's plan. As a result, we only pursue human approval rather than God's.

Only the Holy Spirit can reveal all of God's secrets so that we can live in His salvation. The Holy Spirit has been poured out for us, believers.

Only by living under His guidance can we receive and live out God's wisdom. Never rely on our limited thinking.

Rely on the Holy Spirit to help us seek and know God's will. This way, we will not be easily deceived by the wisdom of this world.

God bless. Amen🔥
