Posting this to gauge feedback from you all and to see if this new project of mine is a possibility.
I want to bring the community feel of the channel back. Since suffering my brain injury, I have had to post videos on a larger variety of tech, with the focus being on bringing in views and funds to the pay bills. It has not been possible to produce larger project-based videos.
This new video series would be covering older cameras (both video and photography aspects), but I want our awesome community to help shape this and decide on which cameras I should feature.
To make this possible, I would post members only updates (which I think YouTube price out at £4.99 or £9.99 per month, I am unsure of the exact details at the moment) and also seek some additional donations via PayPal to help fund the purchases. These would be sourced from UK companies and/or eBay.
The first camera is likely to be an older Nikon 1 series or possibly a Samsung NX or Pentax. Future cameras would be posted as a poll in the member section and you would help decide.
For each camera, the first video would be posted members only first, then made public later. All update videos would be posted for members only, so they would be exclusive access only.
Please leave me some comments and take part in the poll. I am looking for feedback and an indication if you would become a member, become a member plus additional donations, or if this is of no interest to you?
Thanks for your time everyone.

Hi Everyone,
I always find these updates hard to write, as they are often news/update based lately, so wanted to share a bit of happier news in the mix toward the end of this one.
Firstly, the update. I know there are plenty of new viewers (welcome) and some more seasoned viewers (thanks for sticking around), that may not check out my community posts.
There are still a lot of very harsh negative comments coming in, mainly saying that my review videos are "not a review", that they are very low quality or contained no useful information, but in not so kind words. To address this for those who are unaware I have been left with a lot of memory and health issues after my brain haemorrhage. This has resulted in me only working part time on the videos. My recording style had to change, as I now use scripts so that I don't forget what to say. Also, the amount of technical information I can retain is minimal, so the content now relies more on my opinion of the build quality and functionality of a product.
I never spend the time replying to individual negative comments, as it would simply take too much energy, but will say here… if you suffer from severe headaches pretty much every day, have memory issues and fatigue, amongst other issues, then you will understand why my videos have changed.
Now onto the happier news. Check out my latest LEGO build. During my early recovery, I built a lot of LEGO to help with manual dexterity. The new F1 car build was a real challenge, but turned out superb. The end result is great and looks awesome on display. What do you think?

Here's something for your daily viewing. A little short video every day with a pack opening from Magic the Gathering Foundations Boosters Box. There are 24 packs in total, with awesome artwork. In the pack 24 video I will reveal the current market value of the cards. Enjoy 🤓🤓🤓

If you are a regular viewer, many thanks for sticking around. As you know, I have been recovering from a brain trauma and it's proving extremely difficult to produce in-depth tech videos.
Opening packs of cards has given me something fun to take my mind away from health challenges. I thought it would be nice to share them on the channel here.
Let me know if you would like to see more 🤓👍🏻

I am curious how many of you used to own an iPod? and if you did, which one was you go to choice?
For myself, I loved them all, but do miss my iPod Classic. I still have it, but it no longer works and I am not sure whom to trust with a repair. The audio quality was very good on the Classic. Fast forward to now and I am thoroughly enjoying the Astell&Kern Ultra … the quality is superb. If you have 11 minutes to spare 🤓 please do take a look.

Time for an update.
Firstly to address some comments asking why my videos are not as in depth as they used to be. The straightforward answer is that I have had to change how I produce videos since my brain haemorrhage. This involves reading from a script with alternating lines of coloured text, otherwise I lose track of where I am up to. I also have to limit the time I spend creating videos, so that I can manage my health afterwards. I know this explanation won’t stop all the comments, but I felt it warranted an update.
Over the coming months production may well slow down again, as I am still dealing with a residual clot on my brain. I do have videos lined up for you all, and will continue to produce new ones as I genuinely love what I do.
If you can watch, comment on and share my videos, that would really be appreciated. 🤓 I have many older videos too… give them a watch if you feel like stepping back in time with some retro tech 🤓

It’s been a struggle creating videos lately, mainly due to my retention of information. I found that colour coding my scripts with red and black ink on alternating lines is helping a lot. This has only been an issue since my brain trauma.
I wanted to share this, to let you know, where there is a will, there’s a way. For me personally, I was determined to never give up making videos.
Why the photo, no other reason than it being a cool design. Much more pleasing to the eye than a regular SSD.

How is everyone today?
I have been working super hard the last couple of weeks. Listening to you all, you let me know you prefer a mix of live broadcasts and pre-recorded videos. So I got my butt into gear, to try and eek out a few more working hours in the week. You will probably have noticed a few of these videos already and I have more planned for next week.
Thank you again for your feedback. It’s such a great community on Geekanoids. I have the best viewers ever 🤓🤓🤓👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
