Nick Avenged

Long post incoming… I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not to make a full video on this and I still may but wanted to take a sec to catch up with you guys. You’ve probably noticed I’ve been inactive on YouTube the last couple months, with the crunch to get the car done for Wekfest Seattle and a busy schedule I didn’t have time to edit content, but I was filming. More importantly, I burned myself out and had to reevaluate my goals and mindset around Avenged.

I love Avenged, I love what I’ve built with your support and truly feel the best is yet to come but if I’m being honest, I lost focus of what really mattered and why I started Avenged in the first place trying to make it a viable income source. Avenged started as a passion project, a creative outlet to have fun with my cars, creating content I enjoyed making from start to finish, and connect with other enthusiasts but it started feeling like a chore, another obligation in my already busy schedule. I felt stuck. I want to get back to loving every aspect of Avenged.

Fortunately with my move to ‪@stekusa‬ at the start of the year I have more professional growth opportunity and feel less internal pressure to build Avenged into something larger in a short period of time. Could that still happen? Absolutely, but I’m done pressuring myself to make that happen quickly.

Between a busy work schedule, getting married next year, and getting tired of turning down opportunities to spend time with friends, it became clear that posting two videos a week isn’t feasible for me. Lately it had been work and Avenged, nothing else. My goal is to post a video weekly but I’m giving myself the grace to miss a week if needed and create better balance in my own life. My hope is this allows me to get back to creating content I love rather putting out a video that feels like I just filmed to get a video out. I love the story telling aspect of content creation and that involves so much more then just filming what I’m doing and posting it.

Too often we trap ourselves in situations we created and as easily as we created them, we can change them. So here’s to changing my situation and getting back to what Avenged is all about!

Hello from Jordan! Sorry for the lack of new videos on the channel this past week, after a 28 hour travel day I jumped straight into full days of activities and haven’t had time to edit the videos I filmed before I left.

Here’s the post adjusted video schedule:

- Wednesday: 1/11: FIRST YOUTUBE LIVE
- Saturday 1/14: Secret Project Part 3

Thanks for your patience! This will allow me to get caught up and ahead on videos when I get home so I can stick to two uploads a week in 2023, every Wednesday and Saturday. What are you most excited to see from Avenged in 2023?

I'll be traveling the next couple weeks and have three videos filmed already and I'm hoping to film one more tomorrow sharing the untold story of my S13! I want to stick to my 2 videos a week schedule, would you guys be interested in a livestream after new years? I've never done one before but have wanted to for awhile now!
