Hey all, figured it's time for a brief channel update.

I've posted a lot of very long Persona 5 Royal videos lately and I realise it's a lot to keep up with, so I'm going to be posting the palace infiltration part (part 82) as the Thursday upload at the usual time (10pm BST) and the boss part (part 83) on Friday, then from Saturday I'll be taking a break for a little while to cover another shorter game, like I promised I'd do earlier in the year.

This next playthrough will be a handheld game from a series I haven't covered on the channel for almost ten years.

In other news I've been part of an ongoing commentary on the Mario Kart World GPs over on the ‪@HellfireComms‬ channel; the first half of the run is up already, and new parts will go up on Tuesday and Thursday mornings until it's complete. Hey all, minor update here - I've reworked the front page of the channel to categorise the playlists a bit better, with the Sonic and Pokémon playlists having their own category since they're the most represented series' on the channel overall, with other runs sorted by genre, and some misc. categories at the bottom.

This is a very experimental thing and I may adjust it a bit more/roll things back some time in the coming weeks depending how people feel about it, but I figured it's worth attempting to tidy up the 10+ years of content I have on here in a way that makes it easier for everyone to find playthroughs they'd be interested in watching, using the very limited tools YouTube gives me. Let me know what you think!

I've finished recording the main game of Pokémon White, and with the current schedule it coincidentally happens to conclude on the final day of June. Here's what you can expect for the rest of the month:

Since the Pokémon White playthrough is technically a redo, I figured I should include some bonus content I didn't include in the Pokémon Black run a few years ago.

We'll be meeting the mythical Pokémon Victini in Part 12 of the playthrough, going up on 31st May!

Pokémon White Version starts on the channel tonight, 10pm BST.

While I covered Pokémon Black on the channel a few years ago, the video quality hasn't held up as well as I'd like - especially since Gen 5's pixel scaling effect really doesn't look great when upscaled with the admittedly crude 3DS capture setup I used for it, and more people watch these videos on smart TVs and larger displays these days which only makes the problem worse.

I've decided to redo this in full, without any gimmicks/hacks etc., to act as a higher-quality alternative to that playthrough, on par with the Pokémon Diamond run I did last year. I'll be using a different team and playing as the male character instead of the female one to give it its own identity, but I'll be aiming to cover the game reasonably in-depth like I did last time rather than speeding through the game like with the randomiser playthroughs.

I'm aiming for daily uploads for this, with the occasional Persona 5 Royal video/other video going up earlier on in the day on some days. I hope you enjoy the videos!

YouTube decided to lift the Made for Kids restrictions on my Sonic Riders playthrough, so if you feel like sharing your thoughts on a surprisingly fun mid-2000s mascot racer, the comments are now unlocked again after a couple of years.

It doesn't look like the Sonic Lost World playthrough is gonna get its comments back though, sadly. Win some, lose some.
