Monday Night Vibes: 10:10 PM & Still Going! 🧵🪡

I’m definitely feeling the long day, but I’m powered by adrenaline and the love of mas! I’m currently sitting at my sewing machine stitching the finishing touches on my Jr. models costumes.

As you know, my band, Costume Creators, is officially launching in just under a month on May 3rd!

I know I’ve said it a many times before - but I wish I could show you what’s under these pins and needles right now! The "designer itch" to share what I got going on is SERIOUS, but you’ll have to wait for the official presentation to see the full vision. From the body wear to the backpacks and all the special pieces, it really is a big deal! )to me anyways).

Band launch season in Toronto is officially in full swing. Lux Carnival and Tribal Carnival launched their costumes this past weekend, and we still have heavy hitters like Saldenah, Epic Mas Band, and Lavway getting ready to drop.

Being both the costume designer and a section leader for my brand, BLAZE Carnival, I’m actually really nervous. I just want the masses to love this section and my design as much as I do. But more than that, I’m genuinely so excited. Watching these pieces come together under the sewing light tonight makes every late hour worth it. I’m whole heartedly bringing something special to the road!
