I don’t know why I thought she would live long enough to see my children, I knew she wouldn’t, but I loved her and I wanted her to, I wish I could play guitar for her again, continue talking about coin collecting, or world events, even the Bible. Her past, building Legos with her, showing her my projects, or talking about anything really… I will never forget the way she looked at me one last time… as she was slipping to say “hey! There’s my guy!”
