MAJOR UPDATE: I’m back in. I received the password recovery email, re-set my password, and secured my account. After five long days, I once again have full access to my account.
The next step will be getting my channel back. As seen in the screenshot below, Ice711 got removed from all of your mass reportings. Honestly, I’d still rather the channel be taken down than be in a hackers hands for 5 days. But, my account getting taken down does add this extra step into the recovery process that hopefully will go through. Basically, I just have to appeal to get my channel back which I should succeed in. I’d like to thank @MNXPLN for some helpful tips when it came to the recovery process.
Praying that my next update will be “the channel is back” lol. Also, if YouTube approves my appeal and does indeed reinstate the channel, please DO NOT REPORT it anymore as it will be in MY HANDS, not the hacker. If it still shows up as “Cardano Foundation,” that simply means I haven’t manually updated it yet. Obviously this is still a step somewhat far ahead, but we’re very close to getting there.
EDIT: submitted the appeal, says it may take up to two business days to review, or longer. Thank god it’s a Wednesday.
DAY 5 UPDATE: yeah I got it wrong yesterday was actually day 4 lol ANYWAY… got a reply basically saying Google should be dealing with the account issues right now, and I’ll be waiting for yet another reply.

NEW UPDATE: Google replied within 6 hours. I was given recovery options for my account. Wasn’t able to do option #1, so I did option #2 as seen below. As highlighted in the photo, I indeed saw an error stating “Unfortunately Google couldn’t verify that (insert hacker’s username here) belongs to you. This still means you’ve created a claim!”
So hopefully, with this “delayed” second option for account recovery, Google should send me an email with a password recovery link where I can reset my password within probably the next 12 hours or so. Maybe a day. Who knows. But either ways, if any of you guys can fact check in the comments that Google will indeed send me a password recovery link sometime soon despite me getting the error message, I’d highly appreciate it. Pretty sure it should work though. Just trying to be safe. That’s all I’ve got for now.

Firstly, an important word about Ripple and Cardano Foundation- please do NOT spread hate about those companies as they have are not the direct hijackers of my channel, and have acknowledged their respective companies falling victim to impersonators, which is what happened to me. Someone hacked my account, and tried to impersonate both Ripple and Cardano Foundation. It was the impersonator’s fault (who we don’t know). NOT Ripple or Cardano Foundation. So please, don’t spread hate about those two companies.
Still no word from YouTube support, I’ve heard it may take until tomorrow or possibly a few days. But hopefully I can give them the required info to restore Ice711.
Also, I’m not sure if reporting the channel was the right choice to make (even though it was my decision to tell everyone to report) as the entire account now seems to be terminated. So hopefully the videos are still saved. Still though, I feel better knowing NOBODY can access my account rather than a hacker having full access. So, to sum this up, if YouTube does reinstate my channel in the next few days, weeks, or whatever, DO NOT REPORT it as it means I’ve gotten control of the account back and I just need to change everything back (profile picture, videos, etc.)
