Integrative Preparedness

Christmas at "Stonemont" is more than just a day - it's a season. The weekend after Thanksgiving, wreaths are hung on the outside of the house and trees start to be set up inside - 20 trees, to be exact. Yes, 20 full-size trees. Garland is hung on the staircase railings and balconies, and three more wreaths are hung in the entryway to fill the house with greenery to symbolize everlasting life. The trees and garland are all lit with white lights, and many nights the only light in the house comes from the trees and wreaths in every room. Plans begin for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations, and the house begins to smell of pies, cakes and Christmas cookies! Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas Season from the Smiths/Wyatts!
