So the indiegogo for season 2 flopped. We only got about $500 after a week, and the writing was on the wall. HOWEVER... Season 2 will continue. We've already finished about 20% of the production. I will be animating it in my spare time around my day job as I have been, and will be paying for the voice talent out of pocket. Episodes will come out a lot slower, although you should expect at least a few by the end of the year. We'll also start merchandising, something I should have been doing for a long time now. I will let everyone know when posters and season 1 dvds go on sale.

So "Fanny & the Pack" is up for an Ursa Major award. you can go to ursamajorawards.org/nominations.htm and vote for it in the Dramatic Series category. If we get enough votes we'll move on to the nominations. i don't expect to win considering some of the other heavy hitters in the category, but just making it to the nominations would be kinda cool.

Also work continues on Season 2. Storyboards are done as are a pile of backgrounds. Currently working on the stock animation (run cycles, lip movement, ect). I've decided to not re-use any from season 1 and will be making a whole new batch that I plan on using for the rest of the series, which will reduce production time on further seasons by about 12.5%. Will have more news in a month concerning crowdfunding and possible release dates.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to share a small announcement. The script has been finalized and season 2 is officially in production. It will take a while as it is an 8 episode arc instead of 6, and the episodes themselves are a little longer and should all come close to the 7 minute mark each. I will be running a kickstarter (for roughly $35,000 ) in June to fund the season so that I can quit my day job and focus solely on bringing you this show quicker. Now the show will continue regardless weather or not i get funding, but without funding i would have to save up for a year to pay for the cast, as well as only have about 15-20 hours a week to work on the show instead of up to 60, meaning it would take an extra year to produce. I'm going to continue working over the next 4 months to set up the kickstarter as well as a lot of early production work. I learned a lot from season 1 so season 2 will have a bump up in quality. I think you will all really enjoy it as the writing is better than S1. Thank you for reading, and thank you for enjoying Fanny and the Pack. See you in Season 2.
