I picked up Thronebreaker a few weeks ago when it went on sale… and honestly, I regret playing it this late. This game has been out for years and I bought it late, and even then I didn’t start playing until 3–4 weeks after purchasing it. Now that I’ve finished it, I already know I’m going to replay it again later.

As someone who creates Gwent content regularly, Thronebreaker hit me in a way I didn’t expect. The storytelling, the atmosphere, the choices behind every battle, and the interactions makes it quite good. You can lose or gain ally/resources etc depending on your choices in the long run all of them plays a big role to your playstyle. You'll hear familiar Gwent voice lines, encounter deep lore, and suddenly so many things from the Gwent universe make more sense.

At first, I thought, “I have 3000 hours in Gwent this will be easy.”
None of the cards behave like Gwent cards. It’s a completely fresh experience, and your veteran Gwent knowledge plays only a tiny role. And that’s what makes it so good.

I finished it just a few hours ago. It took me 20+ hours total. Since playing it. Gwent honestly feels soulless in comparison. Not in a bad way, but because Thronebreaker shows how rich, emotional, and alive this universe truly is.

If you love Gwent even a little, this is a must-play game. You will fall in love with its world, its decisions, and its card-based battles even more.
I’m genuinely glad I finally experienced it.

I made a detailed video explaining all the perks of my Channel Memberships, but I also wanted to write a full breakdown here so you can easily understand how everything works — and more importantly, how it helps the channel.

First things first:
All my videos will always be public for everyone — there’s absolutely no paywall ❤️
Memberships are just a way to get early access and a few extra perks if you want to support the channel.

⚠️ Why I Needed to Add Memberships
I usually make one full Gwent deck video + 1–2 shorts public each day, and I typically have 20–30 videos scheduled ahead of time.
So, for example, if I play a deck live today on YouTube or Twitch, that video might only go public 3–4 weeks later because of the big backlog of other deck guides — but channel members can watch it right after it’s uploaded.

The reason for this is simple — if I release everything all at once, most videos barely get 200–300 views, which honestly hurts after all the hours spent recording, editing, and testing.
The revenue from that kind of release barely crosses $1–2 total, and it’s discouraging enough that I end up unlisting some of those videos later (you can still find a few of them buried deep in the channel, gathering dust)

When I schedule videos (one per day), it helps with reach — but the downside is that the meta changes fast. By the time some decks finally go public, they’ve already been nerfed or become outdated.
Take my Funeral Boat deck, for example — after the recent nerfs, it’s practically unplayable now with less than a 10% win rate 😩. Even before that, it wasn’t broken — it’s a meme deck after all! Most wins came from opponents misplaying or forfeiting early when they realized they couldn’t counter the combo.
And honestly, I can’t upload those matches — they’re just not fun to watch or fair to call “content.” What’s frustrating is after spending so much time perfecting a video, recording, editing, and uploading — by the time it finally goes public for everyone, the deck’s already dead.

That’s why I added channel memberships — it’s a fair middle ground. I wanted to make it as cheap as possible and 1$ is the cheapest YouTube allows.
You can watch fresh decks right away the moment they’re uploaded, and I can still manage uploads properly without hurting the channel’s performance.
It keeps things organized for me and gives supporters a little bonus — and of course, all videos will still go public for everyone eventually. ❤️
