I am taking a break from being creative for the rest of the year (2025). I have ongoing personal matters that require my immediate attention and I want all my energy to go towards those.

I want to thank everyone that participated in my hashtag event. I love seeing what you awesome creative peeps do. At this stage, I am unsure if I will create a new on for 2026, I am not really thinking that far into the future.

Hello everyone!

Just a quick update. I am out of hospital but still not feeling my usual cheerful & cheeky self so there is a bit more of a delay on video releases. I did film 2 before I went into hospital but never got around to editing them. One of those is of course the COMPLETED PAGES & PROJECTS JULY.

Keep an eye on the channel there will be new content once I feel more up to editing. I would ask Terry to do it, but umm, we have VERY different styles!

I’m in hospital and will be for a few days as I stabilise. Then I dare say I will be taken it easy at home as well for a few more days after that.

TL:DR, I am cancelling my Creator Account on Patreon as I don’t feel I am giving it my all anymore.

I have been struggling for a little while about what to do in terms of Patreon as I no longer feel I am doing enough on my YouTube channel to warrant the generosity of my Patrons. This year was really the catalyst for realising I need to make a change around my entire ‘being’. I have a lot going on in my private space as well as having burnout at trying to make YouTube work as paid hobby, and simply getting no where. The reality is, I have 588 videos released over a 5 year period and I still do not qualify for monetisation. With my mental health struggles the frustration has become too much, and it just isn’t fun for me anymore at the level I’m at.

I am not stopping YouTube, nor my hashtag event, but rather I am making it just a hobby again and uploading as I can muster the energy. So monthly completed pages etc will still be shown, hobbies as I do them, and Etsy shop updates. I am taking the pressure away from having to have 2 videos a week.

My time is going to be used up on trying to get MAGG Designs up and running as a profit business for me. Enough funds so I can pay a few bills and get more tattoos, not a mega corporation! I am a micro-enterprise and wish to stay at that level.

As I said, I’ll still be around, as I am not going away, just slowing down.
