The Beatles Vocal Harmony

After 10 years, in the video I will post tonite you can see me coaching in person a Beatles tribute band in the vocal harmony of If I Fell.

The process you will see recalls in some ways what George Martin used to do with The Beatles the first time they got into Abbey Road: help them achieve the better and tightest possible sound of the harmonies.

I spent 3 days in one of the three studios I use for music productions, coaching the band on both the instrumental parts and the vocals different songs and we filmed everything.

The purpose of these sessions was trying to achieve the closest sound to the original one as per performance of the instrumental parts and vocals, then recording all this trying to perfectly mirror the original vibe.

By watching this video till the very end, at least for what concerns refining the harmonies, you will have an amazing and unique chance to learn some of the hints and tricks I use to coach The Beatles tribute bands.

Over the next months we will post other videos from this session concerning the harmony of This Boy, and the coaching in the instrumental performances that enabled the band to achieve the closest possible original Beatles recordings and vibe.
