mad respect to Grok and Cursor

6 months ago I churned off Cursor and I never used Grok in my life

Now I use Grok Bot and Grok 4.6 in cursor cloud agents as one of my primary dev environments

not sponsored/affiliated in any way, just giving respect where respect is due

in the spirit of running head first into hard problems, the hard problem that I am chasing after with yorby.ai is creating a tool that runs social media marketing on auto pilot for every business

whether that be creating AI-generated content, writing scripts to hand off to real human ugc creators — everything

can it do this right now?

no. it's merely a force multiplier for a user's existing marketing skills.
more of a tool than a true end-to-end solution

but we'll get there eventually

Hey all, just wanted to share I started a second Youtube channel with my co founder! You can find it at ‪@HowDoesThisGetBig‬ . It'll be a deeper dive into our journey building our own startup + planning to get future guests about how they built their big thing.

Hope you enjoy the extra content!

ngl pretty good implementation though as someone that always has Wispr flow on

had some crazy post nut clarity

I went too hard on shipping more and more features

but the UX was so trash and so tasteless

pushing on feature development was important in the beginning to convince users to take a chance on us

time to slow down a bit and clean it up

Use social media enough to get the alpha

But too much is poisonous and distracting

Making you feel like you’re behind/a failure when 99.99% you’re not

Everything is gonna be alright, just keep building and marketing

hot take: building/marketing a startup will never work on auto pilot

The only thing that is guaranteed to work is:

"Make it good"

Make a good product.

Make good content to market your product.

Doesn't matter if it's made by a human or AI, just MAKE IT GOOD.

I've spent too long trying to find cheap growth hacks/automations to win and it just is not worth it.

I am now just going to stare at my product/marketing content for hours and think to myself, "how can I make this better?"
