You’re Not the Problem… You’re Dealing With Someone Who Refuses to Heal (Psychological Truth)

If you’re reading this… not just watching it… this might change how you see your entire relationship.

Let’s get real.

Not everything people say about you… is truth.

A lot of it is projection.

There’s a psychological concept called projection —
it’s when someone takes their own pain, trauma, or insecurities… and places it on someone else.

So when someone constantly tells you:
“You need to heal”
“You’re the problem”
“Something is wrong with you”

You need to stop and ask yourself…

Is this truth…
or is this their pain speaking?

Because here’s what most people don’t understand:

Unhealed people don’t communicate clearly… they react emotionally.

And instead of taking accountability, they protect their ego.

Another psychological truth:

People who avoid accountability will create a reality where they are always right.

Why?

Because admitting fault feels like losing control.

So instead of saying:
“I was wrong”
“I’m sorry”
“I need to grow”

They blame.
They deflect.
They accuse.

And if you’re not aware of it…

You’ll start defending yourself against things that were never yours to carry.

Now let’s go deeper.

There’s a pattern you’ll start to notice:

People who don’t heal… repeat relationships.

Different person…
same arguments…
same emotional patterns.

Why?

Because they didn’t fix the problem.

They carried it.

And here’s something even deeper…

Unhealed people struggle with long-term relationships.

Not because they don’t want love…

But because real love requires vulnerability, accountability, and growth.

And when love gets real…
when it gets close…

It triggers everything they’ve been avoiding.

So what do they do?

They pull away.
They ghost.
They gaslight.
They create confusion.

Not because you’re wrong…

But because you’re getting too close.

And here’s something most people don’t talk about:

In relationships, people mirror each other.

Your partner can reflect your wounds, your triggers, and your growth areas.

But there’s a difference:

A self-aware person sees the mirror…
and works on themselves.

An unhealed person sees the mirror…
and blames YOU for what they feel.

That’s where relationships break.

So let me ask you something…

When you talk to your friends or family about your relationship…

When was the last time you admitted you were wrong?

When was the last time you took accountability?

Or are you telling the story like they’re always the problem?

Because the truth is:

Self-aware people reflect.
Unhealed people deflect.

And if someone is constantly on social media…

Posting about how other people need to heal…
Talking about what everyone else is doing wrong…
Running to others for validation…

People can feel that energy.

Because here’s another truth:

What you speak repeatedly… is what you’re struggling with internally.

Your words expose your wounds.

Your energy reveals your pain.

So if you’re the one…

Apologizing
Trying to grow
Trying to fix things

While they’re…

Blaming
Avoiding
Refusing accountability

You need to understand this:

You cannot heal someone who refuses to look in the mirror.

And if they constantly tell you that YOU need to heal…

But they never apologize…

Never take accountability…

Never show remorse…

There’s a high chance…

They’re the one that needs healing the most.

If this hit you…

You’re Not Speaking Facts… You’re Speaking Your Wounds

If this hits you… don’t scroll.

Not everything people say is truth.
A lot of it is **projection**.

Sometimes the anger you hear…
is unhealed pain.

Sometimes the accusations…
are confessions in disguise.

And sometimes the words people throw at you…
have nothing to do with you at all.

They’re speaking from trauma.
From betrayal.
From abandonment.
From things they never took the time to heal.

Read that again.

Most people don’t respond to life…
they react from their past.

So when someone calls you something…
before you react, ask yourself:

“Is this truth… or is this their pain talking?”

Because people will
🔹 Call you untrustworthy when they’ve been betrayed
🔹 Call you selfish when they’ve been neglected
🔹 Call you toxic when they’re drowning in their own chaos

That’s projection.

And if you’re not aware of it…
you’ll start defending yourself against things that were never yours to carry.

Real growth is this:
Learning to pause…
and ask yourself:

“Am I speaking facts…
or am I speaking from my wounds?”

Because healing people take accountability.
Unhealed people assign blame.

And the moment you understand that…
you stop taking everything personal.

You protect your peace.
You protect your energy.
And you stop absorbing pain that doesn’t belong to you.

If you felt this… it’s not by accident.

Drop a “REAL” in the comments if you’ve experienced this.
Share this with someone who needs to hear it.
And follow for more truth that actually helps you grow.

**FRIDAY MOTIVATION | FROM ROCK BOTTOM TO PURPOSE 💯🔥**

By Shawn Pigg

I didn’t wake up with this mindset…
I built it.

Through being broke.
Through being homeless.
Through losing everything I worked for.
Through pain, betrayal, and moments I didn’t think I’d survive.

And I know a lot of you are feeling that right now.

But hear me…

What you’re going through is not the end.
It’s the beginning of who you’re becoming.

I didn’t wait until I felt ready.
I moved anyway.

I didn’t wait until life was perfect.
I trusted God and kept going anyway.

That’s the difference.

Most people stay stuck because they’re waiting.
Winners decide.

So today, I want you to ask yourself…

Are you going to stay where you are…
or are you ready to LEVEL UP?

Because your past doesn’t define you.
Your pain doesn’t control you.
And your future is still yours to create.

I’m sharing my journey, my experiences, and everything I’ve learned to help YOU rise.

What Love Should Be (And What It Should Never Become)
**By Shawn Pigg**

Love…

Everybody talks about it.
Everybody wants it.
But very few people truly understand it.

Because real love…
isn’t just about how someone makes you feel in the beginning.
It’s about who you become when things get hard.

---

Let me be real with you…

Love is not supposed to be confusion.
It’s not supposed to feel like you’re constantly questioning your worth.
It’s not supposed to feel like you’re giving everything…
and getting breadcrumbs in return.

That’s not love.

That’s attachment.
That’s trauma bonding.
That’s two people trying to fill wounds instead of heal them.

---

**What love SHOULD be…**

Love should feel like peace.
Not chaos.

Love should feel like alignment.
Not resistance every single day.

Love is two people choosing each other…
not just when it’s easy…
but when it’s uncomfortable.

Because that’s where real growth happens.

---

Here’s the truth most people don’t talk about…

When you get into a real relationship—
a deep, soul-level connection—

You don’t just meet their light…

You meet their shadows.

And they meet yours.

---

And this is where most relationships fall apart.

Because when someone mirrors your trauma back to you…
it doesn’t feel like love.

It feels like conflict.
It feels like frustration.
It feels like “why are we always clashing?”

But what’s really happening is…

You’re being shown the parts of yourself
you haven’t healed yet.

---

Two people in alignment doesn’t mean
they never argue.

It means they understand the purpose of the argument.

It’s not about being right.

It’s about understanding.

It’s about saying:

“Why did that trigger me?”
“Why did that hurt you?”
“What is this trying to show us?”

---

Because the right person…

Will trigger you.

Not to break you—
but to reveal you.

---

They will expose your insecurities.
They will bring up your past wounds.
They will challenge your patterns.

And if you’re not ready for that…

You’ll run.

You’ll blame them.
You’ll call it toxic.
You’ll shut down.

---

But if you ARE ready…

That’s where transformation begins.

---

**Love should be a safe place to grow.**

Not a battlefield where you’re constantly defending yourself.

Not a place where you feel unheard, unseen, or disrespected.

Love is:

• Being able to communicate without fear
• Being able to be vulnerable without being judged
• Being able to say “I was wrong” without losing your value

---

Because ego destroys what love is trying to build.

---

**Now let’s talk about what love should NOT be…**

Love should not be one person doing all the work.

It should not be one person constantly trying to fix things
while the other avoids accountability.

It should not be emotional distance
while calling it “space.”

It should not be silence when communication is needed.

---

Because here’s the reality…

You can’t build a future
with someone who refuses to grow.

---

Alignment is everything.

And alignment doesn’t mean you’re the same person…

It means you’re moving in the same direction.

Same values.
Same vision.
Same willingness to evolve.

---

Because love without alignment…

Becomes exhausting.

---

And I’ve learned this the hard way…

You can love someone with all your heart…

And still not be right for each other.

Because love alone…

Is not enough.

---

You need effort.
You need communication.
You need emotional maturity.

And most importantly…

You need two people
who are BOTH willing to look in the mirror.

---

Because that’s what a real relationship is…

A mirror.

---

It reflects your highest potential…

and your deepest wounds.

---

And if both people are willing to say:

“I see what this is showing me…
and I’m willing to grow through it…”

That’s where something powerful is built.

---

But if only one person is doing that work…

It will never be balanced.

And anything unbalanced…

eventually breaks.

---

So if you’re in a relationship right now…

Ask yourself this:

Are we growing together?
Or are we just holding onto each other?

---

Because real love…

Doesn’t hold you back.

It elevates you.

It challenges you.

It makes you better…

without making you feel less.

---

And when you find that kind of love…

You don’t question it.

You don’t chase it.

You don’t have to beg for it.

---

It flows.

It aligns.

It builds.

---

And most importantly…

It heals.

Don’t settle for a love
that feels like survival.

Wait for the one that feels like peace.

Wait for the one that challenges you to grow…

but still chooses you
every single day.

How to Overcome Negative Thoughts

Negative thoughts can feel overwhelming, but learning how to manage and overcome them is essential for maintaining mental well-being. Here are some practical strategies to help you shift your mindset and cultivate positivity:

1. Acknowledge the Thought

The first step in overcoming negative thoughts is to recognize them. Pay attention to your internal dialogue and identify when negativity creeps in. Acknowledging the thought allows you to address it rather than letting it fester.

2. Challenge Your Thoughts

Negative thoughts often stem from cognitive distortions or exaggerated thinking. Ask yourself:
- Is this thought based on facts or assumptions?
- What evidence supports or contradicts this belief?
- Could there be another perspective?
By challenging the validity of your thoughts, you can reduce their power over you.

3. Practice Self-Compassion

Be kind to yourself. Treat yourself as you would a friend facing a similar challenge. Replace self-criticism with affirmations and supportive statements. Remind yourself that making mistakes and experiencing negative emotions are part of being human.

4. Reframe Your Perspective

Turn negative thoughts into opportunities for growth. For example, instead of thinking, “I failed at this task,” reframe it as, “I learned what doesn’t work, and I’ll do better next time.” This shift can help you see challenges as stepping stones rather than roadblocks.

5. Focus on Gratitude

Gratitude can counteract negativity. Take a moment each day to reflect on things you’re thankful for. Write them down in a journal or simply acknowledge them mentally. Focusing on positive aspects of your life can rewire your brain to notice more good than bad.

6. Engage in Positive Activities

Engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation, such as:
- Exercising to release endorphins.
- Practicing mindfulness or meditation to center yourself.
- Spending time with loved ones who uplift you.
These actions can help you create a more positive mental space.

7. Limit Negative Influences

Evaluate the sources of negativity in your life, whether it’s toxic relationships, excessive news consumption, or unproductive social media habits. Set boundaries and create an environment that supports a positive mindset.

8. Seek Professional Support

If negative thoughts persist or feel unmanageable, don’t hesitate to seek help from a therapist or counselor. Professional guidance can provide tools and strategies tailored to your needs.

9. Practice Daily Affirmations

Use positive affirmations to challenge and replace negative thoughts. For example:
- “I am capable and resilient.”
- “I choose to focus on what I can control.”
- “I am worthy of love and happiness.”
Repeating these affirmations can help reinforce positive thinking patterns.

10. Be Patient with Yourself

Overcoming negative thoughts is a journey, not a quick fix. Celebrate small victories and recognize progress, even if it feels slow. Consistent effort will yield lasting changes in your mindset.

By implementing these strategies, you can gain control over your thoughts, reduce negativity, and foster a healthier, more positive outlook on life.

Challenging negative thoughts is an essential skill for maintaining good mental health and well-being. Negative thoughts can lead to stress, anxiety, and depression if left unchecked. Here are some strategies to help you challenge and reframe negative thoughts:

Recognize Negative Thoughts: The first step is to become aware of when you're having negative thoughts. Pay attention to your thought patterns and emotions.

Question the Evidence: Ask yourself if there's any real evidence to support your negative thought. Often, negative thoughts are based on assumptions or misinterpretations of situations.

Consider Alternative Explanations: Think about alternative explanations for the situation or event that triggered your negative thought. Is there a more positive or neutral interpretation?

Reality Testing: Consider whether your negative thought is based on facts or distorted thinking. Are you catastrophizing, overgeneralizing, or engaging in all-or-nothing thinking? Challenge these cognitive distortions.

Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness techniques to stay in the present moment. Mindfulness can help you observe your thoughts without judgment and reduce their emotional impact.

Positive Affirmations: Counteract negative thoughts with positive affirmations. Repeat positive statements to yourself, such as "I am capable," "I can handle this," or "I am resilient."

Gratitude: Focus on what you're grateful for. Keep a gratitude journal and write down things you appreciate in your life. Shifting your focus to gratitude can help reduce negativity.

Seek Evidence: If your negative thought is about your abilities or self-worth, seek evidence of your past successes and achievements to counteract it.

Talk to Someone: Share your negative thoughts with a trusted friend, family member, or therapist. Sometimes, talking about your thoughts with someone else can provide a fresh perspective and emotional support.

Challenge Negative Self-Talk: Replace negative self-talk with self-compassion. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer to a friend in a similar situation.

Practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns. Consider working with a therapist trained in CBT for more personalized guidance.

Set Realistic Goals: Sometimes, negative thoughts arise from setting overly high or unrealistic expectations for yourself. Break down your goals into smaller, achievable steps.

Self-Care: Prioritize self-care activities like exercise, adequate sleep, a balanced diet, and relaxation techniques. Taking care of your physical well-being can positively impact your mental state.

Remember that challenging negative thoughts is an ongoing process. It may take time to change ingrained thought patterns, but with persistence and practice, you can develop a more positive and resilient mindset. If your negative thoughts persist and significantly affect your daily life, consider seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor.

A motivational speaker is someone who delivers speeches or presentations with the intention of inspiring and motivating their audience. They typically share personal stories, insights, and strategies to help individuals overcome challenges, achieve personal growth, and reach their full potential. Motivational speakers aim to instill a sense of motivation, positivity, and enthusiasm in their listeners, encouraging them to take action and make positive changes in their lives.

On the other hand, a spiritual healer is an individual who focuses on promoting healing and well-being on a spiritual level. Spiritual healing involves addressing the energetic, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person's being. Spiritual healers may use various techniques such as energy healing, chakra balancing, meditation, prayer, or intuitive guidance to facilitate healing and restore harmony in a person's life. They work with the belief that spiritual imbalances or blockages can contribute to physical, emotional, or psychological ailments, and by addressing those imbalances, healing can be promoted.

It's important to note that motivational speakers and spiritual healers can be different individuals, although there can also be individuals who possess skills and expertise in both areas. Ultimately, the aim of both roles is to help individuals find inspiration, personal growth, and overall well-being.
