Made huge progress on the edit!

The car is somehow surviving and other than a handful of miscellaneous shots, filming is just about complete! My goal is to have the film out ~2 weeks from now with some shorts coming out around it!

I am very excited to show you this "extremely questionable" purchase😂 It's quite the ride...

The first drive in the Wrecked RS was an event! 👌 Still definitely has problems, but the car made it out and back!

This weekend the goal is to get as close to done with the filming as possible! I'm planning on releasing the film sometime this month with at least one trailer leading up to it! I will update everyone with a release date when I have one set in stone!

Made some major progress on the RS rebuild! The goal is to take the car on the first drive today and see how it goes!

It's been a long time coming and I'm excited to finally start to see the end of the tunnel. The car will by no means be perfect, but so long as it moves again I'll be pretty happy. :)

Planning to start the wrecked RS this week 😏 ...once a replacement boost hose gets here that is.

I really have no idea what to expect from the car when it's driving, all I hope is the drivetrain lives up to my expectations🤔 Still alot of filming to do but I am starting to see the end now!

Finally able to make progress this weekend!
Unless things go catastrophically wrong, I should be able to get the car driving sometime this week👀

Knowing Audi's it will absolutely need some obscure part I'll have to order... but in theory my hopes are up 😂

I can't wait to show you all this next film haha. Once it's driving I'll be able to estimate production times better and have a target date for release!

Currently waiting on the next group of wrecked car parts to arrive before I can continue work. Getting pretty close to having it drive again! Customs somehow lost one of the fenders I was importing😑

In good news, the tires for the daily build finally showed up -- and they were needed. The previous owner really messed up the size and it's slicing on every corner😅 great way to kill expensive tires.

Currently have the wrecked car torn entirely apart for diagnosis/fixing😅 Finally have a complete list of what I need to do/DIY before it's driveable again.

The real question is if I'll truly "fix" it, or just use it for the parts that make it special. Probably a bit of both knowing me...👌

Currently have the wrecked car all torn apart ready for "rebuilding". I'm splitting my time pretty evenly between that and the "daily driver" build right now. I'll have more updates as parts show up. S4 cosmetic refresh is also going on in the background, though the other two take priority. Patreon will also get these official reveals a bit early. :)

I want to try something new this time around so I'm going to cut together some shorts/reel teasers from film segments and release them leading up to the full film. Think of them as teasers/trailers/etc. First one out today 😉

This week I paused writing and am now actively shooting the next couple films! I'll be going back and forth between a couple of them depending on parts availability and lack of garage space. I've got a lot planned 😉

One of which just became possible this week... I found a steal on a ton of parts local to me which happened to come with a wrecked (and Uber cool) car.😏

Been looking into channel planning/re-arranging to adjust release dates for consistency.

I want to balance my long form films with consistency that's more "appropriate" for YouTube itself. (YouTube dramatically rewards quantity over quality at the moment.) The algorithm doesn't really know what to do with full length movies uploaded at a random cadence. It seems to like when channels post consistently.

That being said, the longer films take months to make and that can't be rushed... So my tentative plan is to actually extend how long they take, and supplement those "major releases" with "shorter films" so my channel can at the minimum have a consistent monthly release cadence.

These shorter releases will still have the same quality of narrative and production, but will cover less content. Think single project mods, single topic stories.(something like the E30 wrap episodes but self contained stories)

I'll post a more detailed release plan on my Patreon this week, but the gist is this:

I plan to release short films between the larger main film releases. Starting this month with one on the S4 if people are interested 😉
