All these cities are located in Ukraine’s Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the so-called Donbas.

All these cities have been already reduced to ashes by the Russian army.

All these cities were once full of Ukrainians – children, families. Ukrainians whom Russian war criminals have either killed, captured, forcibly transferred, or driven from their homes under relentless attacks – now cynically calling a “brotherly nation”.

Having left nothing but ruins behind, Putin still seeks to seize and destroy more, to turn new cities into the same lifeless wasteland. Russia’s war is not just against Ukraine’s territory – it is against the very right of Ukrainians to exist.

The U.S., European and other partners have the strength to make Russia stop. Strong, coordinated actions grounded in justice, sovereignty, and Ukraine’s territorial integrity will bring a just and lasting peace.

During his visit to Japan, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha expressed readiness for strategic cooperation with Tokyo in the field of drone technologies:

💬 "We are currently global leaders in drone production. We are ready to share our experience with Japan and cooperate in areas such as drone manufacturing, making it mutually beneficial."

He also emphasized that this cooperation would include not only military developments, but also civilian drones – from agricultural to reconnaissance applications.

Moreover, Minister Sybiha stressed that Ukraine will uphold the principle of justice in its recovery efforts: countries that support the aggressor, including by purchasing Russian energy resources, will not be involved in post-war reconstruction projects.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and UNITED24, fundraising platform founded by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, are launching a fundraiser for lifesaving ground robots, which are designed to protect and assist people on the front lines.

These unmanned systems can evacuate the wounded, provide logistics support and take on the riskiest missions. Among these ground robots are models like the TARGAN 300, VOLIA E, TERMIT, ARDAL 920, RATEL H, ZMIY, BRO-1409, THOR 1000/800, and TESLIA.

This fundraiser is not time-limited, as our military requires robots on the battlefield constantly.

We aim to raise funds for as many robots as possible, to save as many lives as we can. Join in. Support this fundraiser for lifesaving ground robots.

💬 Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha:

"The international community must leave no doubt that Russian war criminals will be held accountable. Justice for Ukraine is more than just a moral imperative; it is a strategic necessity.

Every atrocity left unpunished today fuels new aggression tomorrow, in Ukraine and elsewhere. That is why all accountability tools must be advanced and reinforced without exception or delay.

The Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression Against Ukraine is an important tool for advancing justice, and we look forward to seeing it in action.

The International Criminal Court is already taking important steps to hold Russian criminals accountable. So are the Ukrainian national law enforcement as well as national legal instruments of our partners.

Register of Damage is already documenting evidence of losses and destruction, and the work on the establishment of the Claims Commission must be completed.

Each mechanism matters – together, they form a shield against impunity. If any gaps remain, they must be filled. If instruments are out of date, they must be modernized.

The Kremlin fears justice more than it admits; its propaganda mocks what it secretly fears. International law must be a verdict for those who break it, not just a declaration. Justice may take time – but it must come. And it must come with consequences."

MFA of Ukraine’s Spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi commented on Russia’s false claims about NATO enlargement being a “reason” for its aggression against Ukraine:

“They don’t hold water. Especially when confronted with Putin’s own words from 2004. The Kremlin archives expose the hypocrisy.

April 8, 2004. Putin welcomes NATO Secretary-General to Moscow, declaring: “Every country has the right to choose the option that it considers most effective for ensuring its own security.” He also hoped NATO enlargement would “strengthen trust in Europe and all over the world.”

Fast forward to today, and the same Putin speaks of Russia being «deceived» by NATO enlargement, which presumably poses a «threat» to Russia.

Putin is a pathological liar attempting to rewrite history and justify his imperial war of conquest.

Russia’s favourite propaganda fairytale about NATO’s 1990 «pledges» to Moscow not to move eastward has also been debunked numerous times, including by Gorbachev, the Soviet leader at the time.

The truth is crystal clear: NATO enlargement has never posed a real threat to Russia. It only denied Moscow the ability to conquer sovereign European nations. This is what Putin is really protesting.

This has always been the driving force behind Central and Eastern European countries‘ desire to join NATO. To protect their children from Russia’s war and attempts at colonial domination.

Keep this in mind next time you hear Putin or anyone else talking about Russia being “provoked” to attack its neighbours by NATO.”

💬 "A united Europe can create a defense capability that will destroy Russia’s illusion that war with Europe could bring it anything. To kill that illusion faster, we must take away Russia’s ability to wage war against Ukraine with impunity. It’s better to hold Russia back where it’s already stuck.

If every European country commits at least 0.25% of its GDP to support Ukraine – and we thank those who commit more, like the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and such a big commitment like from Germany – the chances for peace in Europe will grow", President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Defense Industries Forum in The Hague.
