Jesus is My hope
Heavenly Father,
Creator of every sunrise over wide plains and every light that flickers in crowded streets at night,
we lift our hearts to You from this place we call home.
Thank You for the open roads that stretch forever, for forests thick with green, for rivers that carve through stone, and for the countless faces—different colors, different stories—all breathing the same air of possibility. Thank You for the hard-won freedom to speak, to worship, to dream, and to disagree yet still stand together. Thank You for every hand that built, every shoulder that carried, and every life laid down so tomorrow could be brighter.
Lord, we confess we’ve wounded what You’ve given us. We’ve let division grow louder than love, let suspicion drown out understanding, let weariness replace wonder. Forgive us. Mend what is torn. Soften what is hard. Teach us again how to listen, how to serve, how to hold space for one another without losing ourselves.
Give wisdom beyond headlines to everyone entrusted with leadership—may they seek justice more than applause, mercy more than victory, and truth more than convenience. Strengthen those who protect us in uniform, those who teach our children, those who heal bodies and hearts, and every ordinary person quietly choosing kindness when no one is watching.
Stir fresh hope across every corner of this land. Let creativity bloom again, let laughter return to tables, let families find strength, let faith breathe freely, and let every voice find a place to be heard. Make us a people who lift others as we ourselves have been lifted—not from pride, but from overflowing gratitude for Your steady hand.
Bless this home of ours, Lord—not with endless ease or unchallenged power, but with righteousness that lasts, with compassion that reaches, with courage that endures, and with an unshakable trust in You above all.
We place our future in Your faithful hands, trusting You to guide, to heal, and to renew.
