I have never had any disease in my life, not even a headache or fever. I had both normal deliveries. The love between me and my husband was increasing day by day. We got both our children married and were enjoying our retirement life. And suddenly one day I felt a lump in my breast, so we consulted our doctor and got a mammography done and eventually a biopsy done. The Report came positive but the doctors broke the news to us after taking us in confidence in such a way that our apprehension and stress related to the news got relieved. They told us that in the present day complete cure of cancer is possible and we need not worry and I will be fine.

So eventually i got Operated , took multiple cycles of both chemotherapy followed by radiation. I lost hair and some weight during the treatment, but otherwise i had a smooth course. Now i have regained my lost weight and even my hair grew back. I am able to do all household work and even participate in my duties towards the societal work. I got myself tested again and i am still cancer free.

I want to make the most of this second chance given to me due to the efforts and support of my family. hard work and guidance of the doctors and the blessing of the Almighty.
