On times of yore druids used to ressurect the dead in order to teach a valuable leson to those who had experienced the loss of a loved one. Once revived they would outlive their entire family by age alone.

Sadly such magic has been lost thanks to the kingdom of death and their thirst for knowledge, perverting soul magic into necromancy.
