Happy 15th Anniversary to Dead or Alive Online!!! 🎊🎉🎈🎆
DOA Online was released for the PC in December of 2008. It was the first DOA game to be released on PC, it originally was scheduled to be released during the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, and only reached beta level with the latest beta having been released on August 24, 2009. DOA Online improved and expanded on the innovative Avatars and Virtual Worlds in fighting games, first done in DOA4, and the concept was later seen in other fighting games such as Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. In 2010, DOA Online operations were ceased and all game servers were shut down. The servers were later revived by fans who created an unofficial private server where it doesn't require registration, and players can use all of the characters, costumes and other features for free.
