I just wanna send out a huge congratulations to the newest inductees of the ‪@countrymusichof‬, Tony Brown, June Carter Cash, and ‪@KennyChesney‬!!

Along with Bruce Hinton and Mark Wright, Tony signed me to MCA Records back in 2001. I will forever be grateful for that. I also finally got to work with him a couple years ago on a tribute record for Bill and Gloria Gaither. Better late than never! Thanks for all the hit records you’ve produced and all of your contributions to country music, brother!

I never met June but I felt like I knew her. She was always so kindhearted and genuine. One of my favorite stories about her is one that Roseanne told about her being on the phone with someone for about an hour. Roseanne asked June who that was on the phone. June responded, “Wrong number.” That tells you what kind of person she was. Congrats to the whole Carter and Cash families!

Kenny Chesney has been a force in country music from the day he came on the scene. He has an identifiable voice and is always willing to adapt to the times but still stay true to who he is. His longevity is admirable and inspirational. Very well-deserved!!
