Apologies for no team video during the Christmas break. I decided to take some time away and spend time with family.

Here is the final line-up for today’s deadline. The plan is to set the team up for a very likely GW19 bench boost.

Unfortunately I'm not feeling well at the moment so no video this week. Apologies for any disappointment caused. Hopefully I'll be back soon.

Gameweek 35 turned out to be another poor one for the side, scoring just 98 points and resulting in a sizeable drop in ranking. 198k > 235k. The Maguire transfer was particularly frustrating, getting booked and injured in the first game of the triple gameweek.

Firstly, apologies to any followers of the channel for no team video yesterday. I spent the day writing the video, but due to the late announcement of fixtures being rescheduled it's changed my plans and made the video pointless.

FPL content creation can be a cruel mistress in that regard at the moment, but the last thing I want to do is release false/outdated information.

Anyway, I figured I'd provide an update on my team here. I had planned to use the Free Hit in GW18, but with BUR v MUN now moving to that week, I can already field 7 players, potentially 8 if Mitchell has re-gained his place for Palace.

With a FT still available too, I can probably get that up to 9 players for BGW18 and save the FH for later in the season. That's what I'm now leaning toward, and this week I'll probably roll my free transfer.

Anyway, here's how the team is currently lining up. I'm hoping Mitchell keeps his place for a possible CS vs SHU. If not, Coufal can sub in.

I've considered replacing Taylor with Dias/Maguire for the blank, or Dallas for the double - But neither is essential this week.

Captaincy currently on Son, with Bruno and Salah the other candidates. This may change before the deadline - which I'll obviously update if so.

*FIXTURE & VIDEO UPDATE*

Hi guys. I spent the day writing my Gameweek 17 video and was set to release it tonight. However, once again there has been some late developments regarding re-scheduled fixtures which has rendered the video pointless. As you can imagine, these late developments can be extremely frustrating for FPL content creation, and the last thing I want to do is put out false/out-dated information.

For those of you that don't know: 

BUR v MUN has now been rescheduled into BGW18.
MCI v AVL has now been rescheduled into DGW19.

This means that notably, United now avoid a blank gameweek in GW18 - which may affect your decision to Free Hit during that week. Man City & Villa now have a double gameweek in GW19, so this gives those thinking to sell KDB/Grealish a little more to think over.

Due to this change in information, unfortunately there will be no video for GW17 - There's not enough time for me to produce it, and I need a little time to absorb this new info. I'll be toasting to the new year this evening, and having a proper look at it tomorrow. As usual I'll post my final team over on twitter shortly before the gameweek deadline, a long with any transfers.

Salah, Martial, Greenwood in.
Son, Rashford, Fleck out.

No space for Vardy unfortunately, but giving Jimenez one more week before maybe moving him to Ings. Going to look at Pulisic/Willian for the Norwich fixture next week too.

I'm captaining Salah, but am fully aware there's a chance he'll get benched. It doesn't really matter at this point.
