If you haven't seen this channel before, I encourage you to check it out. Yes, it's geared to people living in the US of A, but there are pointers and things to think about for those of us living outside the USA, too.
And remember, lawyers in the USA aren't like lawyers in canada and the uk, who are only allowed to become lawyers by swearing allegiance to the "crown", so even if you hire a defense lawyer and pay them a million dollars, they're still working for the "crown", NOT for you. Add to that judges in canada and the uk are appointed by their politician pals, not held to any standards, not accountable to anyone...
it makes lawyers in the USA look like unicorns!
And, Rights and Freedoms in the USA could actually be enforced. Unlike how the "rights and freedoms" mentioned in the canadian "charter of rights and freedoms" are entirely conditional, meaning the government decides who has which rights or freedoms, where, when, and for how long. As we, hostages in canada, found out the hard way 2020 to present.
