Here, you will hear restored and cleaned recordings from albums in my collection and others. This channel features the budget labels' releases from or before the 1980s, Seeburg background music, and miscellaneous 16 2/3 rpm records.

Please note that these come from used records. Also, since most of the source material uploaded here is often from cheap budget releases, budget labels usually had low-quality control standards. Thus, some of these records have defects that my software cannot handle.

I want to note that before April 2012, I didn't upload videos like the ones mentioned above, and most videos before that were not cleaned up; many were not even direct recordings and, as a result, may sound inferior to the uploads after that date.

I found this record at my local thrift store, transferred and uploaded it, but discovered that 8 of the 11 tracks had content-ID matches. Therefore, I am scheduling this album as filler for a single video (excluding the daily shorts, which are under 2 minutes) for Monday through Saturday's long-form uploads. The first track is scheduled to drop tomorrow, so while I have a moment to think about it, I'm drafting it here.

These tracks from my transfer, despite clean-up efforts, are somewhat noisy and occasionally experience jumps that are unavoidable. This isn't a substitute for similar content elsewhere — perhaps even from original or contemporary magnetic open-reel tapes (which have a much lower signal-to-noise ratio and no obvious defects), but I appreciate that the content rights holders are agreeing to share revenue. Thank you to all 4,500 subscribers—a milestone I never imagined reaching. I recognize my content is eclectic, primarily focusing on budget vinyl and shellac releases, along with Seeburg 1000 records. I share these obscurities precisely because they deserve more attention than they typically receive.
Before YouTube, I felt isolated in my interests, wondering if I was the only person who appreciated these obscure recordings. Finding this community has been transformative. Beyond personal connections, I've developed a sense of purpose in preserving and sharing material from records that might otherwise never be digitized—recordings that are often too niche for commercial interests to bother with, yet still culturally valuable and worthy of documentation.

I've decided to stop creating AI-generated thumbnails for my future uploads of non-S1K content on YouTube. While my current batch of ready-to-publish videos are scheduled with AI thumbnails through August, they won't be included in non-S1K videos after that. On a brighter note, I'll continue making AI thumbnails for S1K content. I think having a generic label for 30 video tracks can be a bit dull, so I appreciate how the variety and color add a lovely touch to the visuals!
