It’s officially too hot to go Squatchin’. When the humidity hits like a wall and the woods are silent under the midday sun, even the Big Guy takes a break.
At CCIS, we’ve decided to follow suit. We’re doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the peak of summer. No treks, no tracking, just ice-cold drinks and the shade of the porch. Sometimes the best way to find what you’re looking for is to just sit still and let the season pass by.
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and we’ll see you back in the deep woods when the temperature drops.

Last summer this place gave us something we couldn't explain. So, we went back for answers. We came back with more questions and ventured into another area. Sadly, a technical failure almost ended the episode before it even started, and something else happened that we're still processing.
We are sharing this episode anyway. This is the one that got away. The sound is a mess and we are still sitting with the weight of what we might have missed. But you need to see this place. You need to see what was happening while the cameras were rolling and the audio wasn't.
Not everything out there wants to be found. Some things only let you get close enough to wonder. Watch carefully. You might not hear much, but you might catch a glimpse of what we could only feel.
Some of it we still can't explain. This location isn't done with us and we're not done with it.
Not even close. 🐾

We definitely had a great time tonight at Mike Familant’s Bigfoot talk, the creator behind The Shadow of Red Eye. Huge thanks to Goshen Public Library for organizing such a fun and engaging night here in Litchfield County.
Great energy, lots of laughs, and even better getting to meet members of the local Sasquatch community.
