Thank you for 100k subscribers! While I appreciate everyone who views and comments on the music I post on this channel, it is amazing to see just how many people ended subscribing to my channel over the years. It is always nice to see comments from people expressing how some of this music makes them feel, and the memories and experiences they associate with it. Thank you especially to those regular viewers who are always happy to leave a comment and suggestion, as it is always nice to discover new music and its associated media.
For the 100k subscriber special, I have chosen to upload (and now re-uploading due to copyright issues) something that is no doubt not what people usually expect from this channel, but may interest some. Given the content I usually post, it was hard to think of what a 'special' upload would be. Although I can't imagine many people would listen to this somewhat samey 'remix' for 32 minutes, I hope some will enjoy the novelty of 100+ songs playing over a catchy anime intro instrumental. At the very least, it was fun to make!
Recently I have been seeing a lot of comments complaining about the advertisements that run on the videos on this channel. Unfortunately, as someone who does not hold any of the copyrights for the music that is on this channel, it is not my decision to run ads, and I am unable to turn them off. The decision to run ads lies solely with the owner of the music's copyright.
Of course, I sympathise with those complaining about the interruptions to the music, and if it were up to me, there would be no ads, especially seeing as I do not make any money from this channel at all.
There are a few options for dealing with ads for those who enjoy the channel I upload to this channel, which I have listed below in the poll.
Out of interest, which of the following currently apply to you?
I often receive requests via comments on this channel for extended song edits, and I am almost always happy to oblige. However, most (but not all) of my videos are edits of instrumental songs, and that is likely what people have come to expect of this channel. For this reason, while I am happy to edit non-instrumental songs, I will usually upload it to the channel unlisted, and reply to the comment requesting it with a link to the video.
For convenience, I have added previous unlisted requests to a playlist on my channel called 'Unlisted Videos (Requests)', so if you have made a request, you can most likely find it there. I will also add future requests that fall into this category to the same playlist.
Furthermore, if a requested song is very short or otherwise less than ideal for extending, I may choose to upload it to this playlist. It will still be accessible, but won't show up in search results, or in your subscriptions. Finally, apologies if I do not notice your comment requesting a song. Feel free to ask again if I don't respond in a suitable timeframe.
Thanks for sharing in our collective enjoyment of music, and do keep the requests coming!
