Meet Kshamenk. The orca that lives in the world's smallest tank! Nicknamed the world's loneliest orca....
In 1992, he was stranded and pulled from the coast of Argentina in what many say wasn’t a real rescue at all, but a staged capture to expand a marine park’s orca collection. He ended up in Mundo Marino, where he was paired with another captive orca, Belen — until she died at just 13, leaving him completely alone.
For almost three decades, Kshamenk has lived in one of the smallest orca tanks in the world — so tiny he can circle it 500 times in one hour. His dorsal fin is collapsed, his body bent from confinement, and his only companions are bottlenose dolphins.
Argentina banned orca captures… yet Kshamenk is still there. Still alone. And people continue to protest, demanding his release before it’s too late.
Meet Machli - the most photographed tigress in the world. She was featured in a number of wildlife documentaries, including a 50-minute documentary about her life, titled Tiger Queen, which was aired on the National Geographic and Animal Planet channels.
Machli wasn’t just a tigress — she was a legend of Ranthambore. The queen who fought crocodiles twice her size, protected her cubs like a warrior, and ruled her territory long after most tigers would have given up. Rangers called her “The Queen Mother’’
