Future Wabi-Sabi
Future Wabi-Sabi is a music project created by Ariel, a slow-living advocate and photographer based in Taipei.
Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of "Wabi-Sabi" (finding beauty in imperfection) and the digital future, this project explores the balance between electronic sounds and human emotion. The music spans from soothing Lo-fi instrumentals to emotive vocal tracks, blending nostalgic analog textures with warm, futuristic beats.
Ariel combines subtle nature field recordings with gentle melodies to create a "soundscape for the soul." Whether it's a quiet instrumental piece or a song featuring soft vocals, Future Wabi-Sabi invites you to slow down, breathe, and find peace in the present moment.

We just need a moment to press pause.
It's okay not to be okay.
Our new album, "To Be Ok," features a girl sketched with casual, loose strokes on the cover.
She isn't perfectly polished. The lines are even a bit wobbly.
But the expression on her face as she closes her eyes is one of pure peace.
This is the essence of Future Wabi-Sabi that we want to share.
Life is just like this doodle—maybe a bit messy, a bit rough around the edges, but still lovely, and still worthy of love.
