Guys, I just wanted to say something because this has been bothering me 😭

A while ago, I made a video using a K-pop trend and adapted it to AOT characters. I know the original trend itself wasn’t mine, and I’m not claiming that it was. But the way I adapted it to AOT.... the specific characters I chose, the names I gave them, and the whole concept/format I used in that video....... was my own idea.

Now I’m seeing people making the exact same AOT version with the same characters, the same names, and basically the same concept, and everyone is just calling it a “trend” now. 😭

And honestly, that’s what’s annoying me. I wouldn’t have a problem if people took inspiration from it or made their own version, but when the exact same characters, names and idea are being used, at least give credit to where you got the idea from.

I’m not trying to gatekeep a trend or anything, because obviously anyone can participate in a trend. I’m just saying that crediting the person whose version you directly took inspiration from really isn’t that difficult. 😭

I spent time thinking about the concept and putting that video together, so seeing the exact same thing being recreated without even a mention is honestly frustrating. 🥲
