My name is Peyton Varney & I am a Senior Environment Artist in the video game industry.
I teach online with CGMA where I have created my own course to help individuals learn the pipeline of creating environments for games. In addition I have created multiple online tutorials through schools like Gnomon & also on my own. I find being able to help people either through teaching or tutorials to further understand how environments are made to be extremely rewarding & a way for me to help people follow their passion. It helps me with continuing to push my communication skills & at the same time learn a lot from the creative ideas & techniques that newer artists bring to this field.
This channels purpose is to share short form tutorials & tips for game development. Hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone,
I am working on trying to improve the content and overall experience for you all through the videos that I make on here. I want all of the content on here to always be educational free content because it was a big part of how I learned when I started out with 3D and game development. I love making the content on here and appreciate all of you that have supported the channel throughout the past couple of years. I look forward to continuing to make content for you!
With that in mind I did want to add some additional perks or features. I have revamped some of the membership content on here and I have also decided to make a Patreon after some requests for a different platform to support as well. There will not be educational videos hidden behind the paywall, it is merely a way for you to support the channel if you would like.
What will be offered will be some perks like polls for deciding on video content priority, special thanks in the credits of each video, behind the scenes blog posts about upcoming videos, and the occasional digital download of a texture, model, or project file. Happy Friday!
Just wanted to post a quick update and share what I am currently working on. I have a couple of videos coming out next week covering some more in depth material creation inside of UE5 that I am really excited about & I am currently working on an extremely fun video where I make an environment start to finish and record the entire process for it in the engine. I am not sure yet whether it'll be broken into individual parts or if I just put it all in one video. Honestly comes down to how long it is even with time-lapse.
That said, I'd like to know what other topics would you like to see covered in the channel? Do you prefer when they are more environment art specific, or are you enjoying the occasional random feature or thing that I cover inside of Unreal Engine.
