Welcome to The Weird War Room.
I'm Caleb Williams — 55 years old, Army veteran, and military historian for over two decades.
This channel is about the stories they don't teach in school. The weapons that defied logic. The tanks that couldn't drive. The planes that should've stayed on paper. The projects that burned through millions and delivered nothing but embarrassment.
My father flew Hueys in Vietnam. He rarely talked about the war, but he's the reason I fell in love with military history. After serving in the Army myself in the early '90s, I spent years digging through archives, old blueprints, and declassified documents.
Now I'm sharing what I found.
New videos regularly. If you like history with a side of "what were they thinking?" — subscribe.

Hi everyone,
I’d love to hear some feedback from you, since my view counts have dropped significantly. What kind of videos would you like to see? What should I focus on in the videos? Video-style content, or a slideshow of images?
Please be as detailed as possible—this is very important to me, since the channel’s view counts are on the decline.
I’m going to take a short break from making videos to analyze the situation; the first video will be out next week. Thanks to everyone who’s with me!

2,300 subscribers. I still can't believe it.
When I started this channel, I wasn't sure anyone would care about old tanks and forgotten weapons. Turns out, a lot of you do.
Thank you — every single one of you♥️
Now I want to hear from you. I've uploaded 12 videos so far — tanks, APCs, air defense systems, aircraft. Some performed better than others. Looks like you really enjoyed the air defense and tank content.
So here's my question: What do you want to see more of? This channel is for you. Let me know what direction to take it.
Something else? Tell me in the comments.

Hey everyone! 👋
This is my first community post here, so first of all — THANK YOU to each and every one of you who found this channel, watched the videos, and hit that subscribe button. It means the world to me, and I'm just getting started!
Now, I want to make sure the content works for as many of you as possible, so I have a quick question:
Should I add subtitles to my videos?
