I've always loved children's books. Not in a distant, academic way — just genuinely loved them. The stories, the illustrations, the way a really good picture book can make a four year old go completely still for three whole minutes.
When I left my job (let's just say life's too short to be micromanaged by someone who knows less than you 😄) I finally had the space to do something I actually cared about. So I started Potpourri Bookery — a little corner of the internet where I write honestly about children's books. What works, what doesn't, what your kid will ask you to read seventeen nights in a row.
The YouTube channel is new — just getting started — but the blog has been quietly growing for a while now.
