There are lots of great barely noticed videos on YT and this is definitely one of those - especially for Shenmue and Yakuza fans like myself. https://youtu.be/V_rU-05fH4s?si=Ie0FJ...
Distant screams, uneasy sounds combined with beautiful ambience music, somehow mixes both Silent Hill and Resident Evil vibes with Lovecraftian noise tracks like those in Quake.
Check out this fresh ambience "breathcore" channel. It's pretty cool.
What a beautiful piece of music and I am proud to be a co-creator, even though my role was minimal here. Subscribe to Survival Spheres if you didn't already - lots of fantastic unique Save Room tunes inspired by Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis and other games of that golden era of gaming!
I’m curious - who is your favorite classic (RE1 - CVX) Resident Evil villain and why?
I only ask for your favorite, not necessarily the strongest, smartest, or most important for the series, etc. Just your own opinion. YouTube limits polls to only 4 options, so if you don't find your favorite here, just choose the one you like most from these and then add your favorite in the comments.
I must say that I really REALLY enjoy making RE1 videos. It kinda takes me back to those times when I was scared as a little kid, having nightmares about those narrow corridors. Funny thing is at first I was going to use the remake's backgrounds, since even AI upscaled og RE1 backgrounds look kinda bad. But then again, even though we all love the remake, RE1 is much more vibrant and surprisingly much scarier. Also the AI made these backgrounds look like they were oil painted or something like that, looks like an art to me. And so I decided. So the question is, after I am done with RE1 dark ambient soundscapes and og music videos, should I do remake ambience as well? Or should I skip to CVX? Your ideas all count as well. Some of my videos were made thanks to your ideas, so I would appreciate the feedback! Thanks for your attention. New scäääry video coming soon.
Most of you might think that the hardest part is music looping/sound volume monitoring/editing in video editor or creating soundscapes. Yeah those take some time, but none of those take as much time and make you question your life choices as sorting those backgrounds :D Thankfully RE1 has less than say RE2 (which had almost 2000 of them), but I am still 600 of those to go. Anyway. as you see, RE1 content is coming later this month, stay tuned!
So yesterday I created a post about monetization of my channel and that I need it to remove as many ads as possible from my videos. YT has already reviewed my channel and now I gain some control over ad settings. As you can see from my screenshots, Pre-Roll and Post-Roll ads can not be removed, but Mid-Roll ones can be dealt with and from now on they should disappear completely. Let me know of any issues, any feedback is appreciated!
Imagine this.. Youtube is kinda forcing me to enable monetization :D Long story short. Some users complain about Mid-Roll ads in my recent and older ambience videos. I was never going to monetize my channel for many reasons and one of those reasons was that I believed that monetization would increase the amount of ads in my videos. Today I made some research and turns out YouTube still puts ads in my videos and some of them are the Mid-Roll ones (those you can see in the middle of a video), which is extremely distracting for listeners without YT Premium account. And since I am not monetizing, I can't really do anything about it. Apparently if I start monetizing, I gain control on SOME ads options, like turn off Mid-Roll ads on some videos, but leaving Pre-Roll and Post-Roll ads (seems like you can't disable all of them sadly). So today I started a process of validation of my account for monetization. It can take up to a month. Until then ads are just like YouTube wants them to be placed and I can't do anything about it. But when I finally gain some control over them, I will try to reduce their amount as much as possible. Just to be clear, this YT channel is not generating any income and was never made to do so. It is purely a product of passion and love for videogames. The only way you can support me financially is my Ko-Fi page ko-fi.com/vhsretrogamer Monetization will be there to only gain some control and not letting YT to completely destroy the vibe of my videos with their Mid-Roll and other distracting types of ads. Thanks for your attention. I will keep you updated, my fellow followers! Expect new videos very soon!
Would you be interested in RE1.5 fan revival project ambience sometime? Most of them use re2 and re3 music, but I personally like those backgrounds, very 90s

Some great Silent Hill inspired music tracks made by Silence over the years.
(BTW I'm not paid by this channel or anything, just wanted to share this wonderful music mix with you all)
