Hi all,

We’re currently working on a 1940s story from the USA for The Lost Biker Stories (Volume 2).

Would anyone be able to confirm if my belief is correct on the identification of this bike:

Here are the details:

Photo take: late 1940s

Location: California.

Extra content: the gent in the pic worked at Mare Island Naval Ship Yard during and after WW2

My belief: this is a 1940s Indian Scout 741b (military spec, because a smaller engine than civilian version, and no fancy flared fenders)

If anyone could shed any more light, I would hugely appreciate this.

Hello all,

I hope some of you may be able to help me.

We’re on a very old story for volume 2 of The Lost Biker Stories book, and there are two motorbikes that we cannot figure out the makes and models of.

I’ll share the photos now (1960s, crossing the French alps) and if you do know either of the models, would you be able to share it in the comments (please do include the registration numbers so I know which bike you’re referring to.

Hi all,

At 11am on Saturday 6th September at Rykas in Box Hill, we’ll be doing the Harley Davidson Street Bob reveal.

This has been a project with Warr’s Harley Davidson that started over six months ago, with the aim of turning a brand new 2025 Street Bob into my vision of a dream Harley.

The build’s finally complete, but I haven’t seen the finished job yet, so the 6th of September will be the first time I see it completed.
