Sometimes fishing simply takes me to places where nature reveals something unexpected.
While visiting a dock during spawning season, I was fortunate to witness a group of Longnose Gar engaged in what appeared to be a graceful courtship dance.
Watching them move in synchronized patterns beneath the water gave me a new appreciation for a species many people overlook.
Whether you're an angler, nature enthusiast, or simply curious about the world around you, I think you'll find this new video, fascinating.
Beauty or beast? You decide.

☕🚗 NEW VIDEO: DASHCAM COFFEE CRUISE | LAKE ERIE SHORELINE DRIVE
I've always enjoyed a drive, especially a country drive, with a coffee in hand.
Going solo is a great way to collect one's thoughts and satisfy that urge to wander. It's equally enjoyable with a partner or good friend, sharing the road and conversation along the way.
I've often thought of a car as a kind of mobile living room — a comfortable space from which to observe the world passing by.
This latest video follows a scenic stretch of the Lake Erie shoreline as I head out on what I call a Coffee Cruise. A simple drive, a beautiful road, and a chance to see where the journey leads.
I enjoyed making this one so much that I plan to do more. You can look forward to Dashcam Coffee Cruise becoming an ongoing series on Richard Delaney World.
Do you have a favourite road or destination that you like to drive just for the pleasure of the journey?

🚚 NEW VIDEO: Earl's Rolling Curiosity Museum 🏍️
While out on a Sunday country drive, I stopped for a coffee and met Earl. What caught my attention was his Harley-Davidson-themed truck, covered with motorcycle models, figurines, eagles, gnomes, stickers, and many other curiosities.
Earl was friendly, welcoming, and happy to share the stories behind his one-of-a-kind creation.
Richard Delaney World is about more than fishing, travel, art, and adventures. As I make my way through everyday life, I also encounter unusual people, interesting places, and oddball discoveries like this one.
Thank you to everyone who watches and subscribes. Reaching 100 subscribers was a meaningful milestone, and your support keeps me creating.
See you on the next journey through my world.

I'm excited to have caught my first Rudd or Goldfish on rod & reel. I think it's a Rudd, but I'm not certain. Perhaps you can identify it? A Short will be dropping later today to show you the action and my surprise when I caught the fish.

Why the cow videos? Honestly... because I like cows, farms, and the countryside.
I enjoy documenting the interesting, and unexpected things I encounter while out on the road, fishing, exploring, and living everyday life.
This channel reflects my real experiences and interests — not just one subject.
Here’s one of my favourite cow videos: https://youtu.be/K3zZWXveeK0?si=I9wJs...
Thanks for following along and enjoying the variety with me.

Here’s a nutrition chart with the details for the Filet-O-Walleye Sandwiches I made in this video. Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/SSsP5Rf8YOY?si=HMode...
These sandwiches were inspired by McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish, but with one major upgrade — Lake Erie Walleye. I followed a similar recipe style, using flour, Panko, and bread crumbs for the coating. I also mixed turmeric and paprika into the crumbs to give the fish that rich golden color when cooked.
One final touch made a huge difference: a fresh squeeze of lemon over the hot fish just before serving. The flavor was outstanding.
You could make these sandwiches with almost any fish, but in my opinion, Walleye is the perfect freshwater fish for the job. I like to call it “the Cod of the Great Lakes.”
You really have to try these sandwiches. If you make them, come back and let me know how they turned out — either here or in the video comments!

I recently visited a beach at Long Point on Lake Erie where I have walked, fished, and enjoyed for many years.
The beach is now closed to public access as part of a wildlife reserve.
I shared my thoughts and posed questions in this video:

Should some natural places be completely off-limits to people in order to protect them?
