Many thanks to Becky D'Anna for inviting me on her new show to discuss the past, present and future of #MastersoftheUniverse. The video also gave us the perfect excuse to resurrect Tony Stella's art that he created back in 2019 for a watch party about the animated series.
If you want to know what it takes to be a 20-year-old director with a monster hit in the theaters, check out this interview with 'Backrooms' director Kane Parsons.
Stuck in airports today so I can’t do my box office breakdown, but check out these numbers. Two original low-budget horror films made by young filmmakers are outcompeting the bland generic sausage factory known as Disney. It’s great to see some much-needed new blood in the movie biz telling stories in an original style that connects with a rabid audience. Fingers crossed, this is the beginning of a new trend.
Check out the trailer for 'Hope' from director Na Hong-jin. This is the first trailer I've seen in quite some time where I couldn't resist pausing repeatedly to get a better look at some of the horrific details. Chalk me up as incredibly excited for this film.
I just learned the incredibly sad news that artist Tony Stella has died. I'm completely numb with shock. I had the good fortune of recording with him many times, but I'm going to share our final recording together when we celebrated the 50th anniversary of 'The Man Who Would Be King'. Tony, I miss you buddy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzqir...
As many of you know, I got hacked last Tuesday. Thanks to the very generous online support of many of you, I've regained control over the channel. YouTube tells me it will take until June to confirm that every last trace of the hacker has been expunged from the channel, but I'll do my best to get back up and running as fast as possible.
I hate to miss such a massive box office success story today, but I’m goingto be stuck in airports the rest of the day. #ProjectHailMary performed above and beyond expectations with $80M+ domestic, a massive win for Amazon MGM, and one of the best openings ever for a non-franchise movie. Full details over at Variety: variety.com/2026/film/box-office/project-hail-mary…
Just snagged my tickets to see Carpenter Brut in April. If you like their latest video, definitely check out the rest of their filmography (uncensored).
Check it out. New Blu-ray for Bill Plympton's 'Hair High' is available to pre-order and it features a commentary track with me alongside Adam Rackoff and Martin Kessler. Hope you enjoy! deafcrocodile.com/products/hair-high-deluxe-limite…

Check it out. Wild short film by the legendary Bill Plympton which I worked on as one of the producers alongside Adam Rackoff.
