I make music, practice mirror work, sometimes I do somatic rage fits, and small forms of magick that help me stay present and kind while things change.
I write songs for myself, my inner child, and for the woman I am becoming.
Sometimes I write as the Crow — that's my ideal self. Direct, unattached, protective, grounded in something older than my fear. Other voices come through too. The snake. The spider. The fly. The ghosts are the false selves I created to survive. I write as all of them, for my own self-hypnosis — unpacking who I've been so that my son can fill his days with joy and I can stop being such a reactive parent. I'm in the middle of it all.
I use Suno for vocals and instrumentals — the vocals are seeded from my voice. I'm a disabled veteran and a stay-at-home mom.
I leave breadcrumbs in case anyone resonates.
Take what feeds you.
Leave the rest for the birds.

Crow Family album.
The whole album is inspired by Lavinia Brown’s work on the external parent figure — a way to call in the safe others my inner child needs right now. I’m building it for her. And in a way that I hope can hold others who need to fill the same gaps.
This song is rooted in Hadit — the secret center of every being, the spark that says “I am here.” The voice of the father who reminds me: every man and every woman is a star. You don’t have to dim your fire. You don’t have to earn permission to shine. You just find your own orbit and burn anyway.
I wrote this for the part of me that never learned to take up space, and for anyone else who was taught to be small. Father Crow ignites. His gift is a steady drum, a heartbeat, a permission slip to claim my own sky.
This while album is streaming on all platforms today.
On the music and Suno—
I write the lyrics. The vocals are seeded from my voice, and Suno brings them to life. My husband played some of the instrumentals on this album. I share this breadcrumb about Suno in case you’re like me — a lot to write, never had the confidence to sing, trauma took over your life, and you’re just now starting to create and express. This is what I’m doing. It’s just a doorway.
Crows on the wire, building a nest for the little one inside. 🐦⬛
Lyrics:
Father Crow —
He sees the ember, knows the smoke.
He folded himself into a point of view so you would have a place to go,
somewhere to return to when the dark comes for you.
His gift is his steadiness.
His presence is the spark that cuts the dark.
O Child of the stars, the sky has a center.
It’s you.
The little one inside braces.
I tell her: “That was then.”
She doesn’t believe me.
She learned to dim her own flame before anyone else could blow it out.
I only learned to shield her from the spark. I kept her safe, but missed the mark.
So I call the one who knows fire.
I close my eyes and build him from the ache. I imagine a father who holds my burn — and doesn’t break.
Father Crow answers — “Your heat belongs here.
You can’t scare me. I’m not going anywhere. Your intensity is passion.
You have my attention.
If you fail, I’ll spot you.
That’s what fathers are for.”
Father crow reminds me — You can stop over‑giving.
Start living.
You’re a star — not a moon.
Shine through.
Don’t reflect the room.
(You are a star.)
Now radiate.
Claim your space.
(You are a star.)
Father Crow stays while I find my footing. (He stays.)
He is the wall that doesn’t push me.
(Father Crow)
He sees me shake.
He sees me fall.
He is the voice that counts the fall as a step. He is the voice that says ‘now begin again’. (Begin again)
Father Crow.
(Father Crow)
I ask: “What if I fail?”
Father says — “Then we eat the failure. It becomes meal.”
He is the compass I learn to see.
He is the perspective I learn to believe. When I brace — the old voice says “not enough.”
Father asks: “Enough for who?”
That knot in your back — is a fist that forgot it could open.
When it releases — you’ll know what your heart has been holding.
You don’t need to know the way.
Just start moving.
Tell me what you want.
I’m here to stay.
I won’t drop it.
I don’t need him to save me.
Just witness while I leap.
I wonder, “What if I pick the wrong direction?”
Father Crow points — “Then you turn.
Show me your broken things.
We’ll build new wings.”
Father Crow nudges me:
“Every star burns for itself.
Shine where you shine.
Take your time.
Father will wait.”

Crow waits.
The funeral of false selves
pauses at the gate.
Something older than ghosts
stirs in the air.
Now hear this:
“Do what thou wilt
shall be the whole of the Law."
"Love is the law,
love under will."
[VERSE 1]
“Crow says:
every man and woman is a star.
The universe moves with me.
A star reaches
through its own light.
Further than itself.
Reaching shapes the dark.
What moves when nothing holds?
That's Will.
What speaks when no one hears?
That's Will.
Freedom is the shape you make
when nothing bends you.
Trust the feeling,
ground beneath.
Excitement is navigation.
Lust of result
Lust of result kills creation.
[PRE-CHORUS]
I move with meaning.
pour without counting.
stand without hiding.
How I feel
tells me where I am.
Joy, love, excitement —
A compass I can trust.
[CHORUS]
Will is the root,
love is the bloom.
I follow the feeling —
love is the law.
love under will.
Know the want,
want the knowing.
Do what thou wilt —
let others do the same.
love is the law.
love under will.
[BRIDGE]
Feel good first.
the day follows.
Find one thing to appreciate.
Then another.
Joy is the purpose.
Drop the story.
Drink the feeling.
Ego wants results.
Will wants presence.
The gate stays narrow —
I leave everything else
to enter.
[PRE-CHORUS]
I move with meaning.
pour without counting.
stand without hiding.
How I feel
tells me where I am.
Joy, love, excitement —
A compass I can trust.
[CHORUS]
Will is the root,
love is the bloom.
I follow the feeling —
love is the law.
love under will.
Know the want,
want the knowing.
Do what thou wilt —
let others do the same.
love is the law.
love under will.
[OUTRO ]
Crow says:
"Will without love
is a blade that keeps cutting.
Love without will
is water with no place to go.
Practice pouring
by noticing what you hold.
Now ask yourself:
'What would feel good right now?'
Then let yourself want it.

Welcome to the nest. 🪹 each song a different way of being alive. This album is for the molting, the migrating, the ones learning to land softly after a long flight.
