The following statements are from the Roys Report on the Perry Case. Please read the full article and spread the word. Abuse and "PDFiles" should NEVER be allowed around children ... PERIOD!!!
Pawleys Island Community Church is a cooperating church with the South Carolina Baptist Convention, which is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
The state convention said it lacks control or authority over cooperating congregations. However, state and national convention personnel have contacted current church leaders and are assisting at the church’s request.
“Child sexual abuse is an abomination, a moral and theological aberration causing incalculable harm to children and families,” the state convention said Monday.
The arrests come after news of Perry’s sex offender status ignited a firestorm in the small barrier island town.
At a heated church meeting last week, then-Pastor Don Williams tried to read a statement, explaining the church’s decision to withhold information of Perry’s past crime to the church community. Repeatedly, the audience shouted down his statement, saying, “You are responsible for this!” and “You should go to jail with him! You knew!”
At a meeting after Perry’s first arrest, Williams said church leaders knew Perry’s criminal history and imposed restrictions. Perry was not supposed to be alone with children, Williams said.
“We believe that children must be protected,” Williams said. “I also believe that every person, even someone who has committed a serious crime, is made in the image of God and should be treated with dignity.”

A clipping from an newspaper article of our Art/Bible Study Class.
Many of these ladies were victims of various abuses and/or recovering from addiction.
We've covered their names, faces (except our family), location, and the name of the paper as to protect their privacy. The ladies up front entered a local art competition and Jasmine along with another lady took 3rd place in acrylic and oil.
God is the Master artist and you are a Masterpiece. ❤️
