Been finding more and more of these pests lately. If you see one definitely take it out.
What are they? Narnia femorata, or the leaf-footed cactus bug, is a true bug in the Coreidae family known for feeding on cacti, though it has recently been found on thistles as well. A key feature is the female's ability to store sperm from a single mating, allowing her to lay eggs for her entire life, which aids in rapid colonization. These bugs feed on plant fluids from stems, leaves, and fruits, and males use their enlarged hind legs for combat.
