WE CAN FINALLY TELL YOU … Meet the QLD manufacturer building our next home on wheels!

I’m writing this from our little cabin in Brisbane, where we’ve been parked up for a while now as we work through the final stages of our new setups.

For the past few weeks, we’ve had no truck and no van, and at times it has felt like we’ve been stuck in limbo. But everything is finally starting to come together. The truck should be ready within the next week or so, and tonight we can finally share the news of who is building our new caravan. It's all very, very exciting!

Those of you who are subscribed to our newsletter would have already received this news.

We have officially partnered with Offroad Grit RV, a small, family-owned caravan manufacturer based in Caboolture, Queensland 😁

OGRV is not new to us. We have known them and admired their vans for years, not only because of the quality of their work, but because of the care, pride and work ethic behind every build. Their attention to detail, willingness to listen, practical approach to problem-solving and genuine commitment to their customers have always stood out to us.

Queensland is where we are from and where we always return, so partnering with a Queensland manufacturer felt like the right fit. There is something really special about being able to work closely with a local family-owned business, spend time together in the factory and develop this next stage side by side.

After almost seven years of living full-time in a caravan, we know exactly what works for us, what doesn’t and what we have always wanted to explore further. Every caravan we have designed has been built around the way we live, but there have always been a few ideas we have carried with us that we have never been able to bring to life until now. Can you guess what they might be? 😉

We have been quietly working with the Offroad Grit team for a little while, giving both sides the time to properly plan for what this partnership could bring. We knew there would be growing interest around the brand, so it was important that everything behind the scenes was ready before we made the announcement.

That growth will be steady, intentional and carefully managed, with quality, customer service and attention to detail remaining exactly where they have always been.

The past couple of weeks have involved many hours of development and design as we worked through every part of the new van. A completely new layout has now been created, the finer details are being finalised and the chassis has already begun!

One of the biggest reasons we chose Offroad Grit is the people behind the business. Mark, Rach & the team care deeply about the caravans they build, the customers they build them for and the reputation they are creating.

As the business grows, their focus remains firmly on quality, attention to detail, customer service and building vans they are genuinely proud to put their name on.

There are also new layouts already in the pipeline, so this partnership is about much more than one caravan. It is about sharing their story, helping introduce more people to what they do and creating some very exciting things together over the years ahead.

As ambassadors for Caravanning Queensland, we could not think of a better place to officially reveal the finished caravan than the Let’s Go Ipswich Caravan, Camping & Outdoor Expo in the final week of August! We will be there with the Offroad Grit RV team and our new caravan, ready to show you what we have created together.

We will also be taking you inside the factory and introducing you to the family and team behind Offroad Grit. You will see the ideas, the decisions, the challenges and the work that goes into bringing a new caravan to life. Make sure you are subscribed to our YouTube channel so you won't miss a single episode!

We are incredibly excited about what is already underway and very proud to finally introduce you to the people we have chosen to build our next home (and office!) on wheels.

So now that you know who it is… did you guess it was Offroad Grit RV? We'd also really love to know if you've heard of OGRV before! 😁

Apparently our opinion can be bought 🤨

We’ve seen comments like this more times than we can count, and to be honest, it’s partly why we don’t even like calling ourselves influencers anymore.

Not because we don’t influence people. We’ve been doing this professionally for more than 10 years and know many of you have bought products after watching us use them. It’s because the meaning of the word has changed.

When we started, becoming as influencer or ambassador meant building long-term relationships with brands you genuinely used, believed in and trusted. Today, so much of social media has become promoting whatever arrives in the mail or whoever pays the most.

That has never been us. Our opinion has never been for sale.

Just because we stop working with a company doesn’t automatically mean the product is bad. There are countless reasons a partnership might end. Sometimes our values or vision no longer align. Sometimes the company changes. Sometimes we change. Sometimes we’ve simply outgrown each other. Sometimes it’s just a business decision. Like any business, ADU has to make decisions that are right for us, and those decisions aren’t always about the product itself.

We don’t do paid reviews. We don’t read from scripts. We don’t recommend products because someone transferred money into our bank account. In fact, we say no far more than we say yes. We get approached by hundreds of brands every week and if something doesn’t fit our lifestyle or our values, we’re simply not interested.

Being an ambassador is about far more than posting content. We spend time with the people behind the businesses. We help develop and test products, provide feedback, report problems, suggest improvements and genuinely want to see those companies succeed. If something isn’t right, our first conversation is always with the brand, not the internet.

Everyone runs their business differently, and that’s okay. This is simply how we’ve chosen to run ours.

Products change. Partnerships come and go. The one relationship we’ve always tried to protect is the one we’ve built with all of you. Trust takes years to earn and only moments to lose.

We’ll never risk that for a pay cheque.

We’ve been sitting on this news for a little while, and now that everything is officially finalised, it’s time to share it.

Our partnership with Sunland Caravans has now come to an end.

For those who have joined us more recently, we partnered with Sunland in 2024 and worked with them to create and promote the Sunland LTD ADU Edition. It became a significant part of our travels, our content and the ADU journey over the past year.

After a great deal of thought, we made the decision to formally end our agreement, and we are no longer representing or working with Sunland Caravans.

There are parts of this decision that will remain private out of respect for everyone involved, but it was not a decision we made quickly or lightly.

We know there are many Sunland owners within our community, and this announcement is not intended to take anything away from your caravan, your travels or the experiences you have with it. We genuinely hope every owner continues to enjoy their van and create plenty of incredible memories in it.

When we put our name behind a business or product, it matters to us. We need to feel confident that every partnership continues to align with who we are, how we work and where we are heading.

As for what comes next, there is already a new chapter taking shape. We can’t tell you which caravan manufacturer it is just yet, but we’ll be announcing it soon 🙂

You can start guessing though! Your first clue is that it’s not a Melbourne manufacturer.

Who do you think it is?

🔋 We’re excited to share that we’ve officially partnered with Arizon Off-Grid & Victron Energy as brand ambassadors! 😁

Our next touring setup will be fully powered by their latest off-grid technology, and we’ll be integrating Arizon’s newly released 24-volt Victron Energy power control system, along with Arizon solar panels & lithium battery solutions, into both our upcoming Sunland caravan build & our 2026 GMSV Chevy.

This collaboration means we’ll be taking you behind the scenes — from design & install right through to real-world touring — showing exactly how we manage power when we’re living & travelling off-grid full time!

We’re looking forward to putting it all to work & sharing the journey with you. Time to turn the sun into our fuel & send it 🙌🏼🔥

‼️ Something big could be announced in the next few days… and we don’t want anyone missing it if it happens 😄

Social media is great — until the algorithm decides who sees what. So this year we’re putting more focus into connecting directly with our crew.

If you love following along with what we’re doing, the ADUCREW mailing list is the best way to stay in the loop.

We don’t send emails often — but when we do, it’s for the important stuff… big adventures, major updates, events, new projects, and the things we don’t always share publicly.

There’s a chance we may be sharing something pretty exciting very soon — and the email crew will be the first to know. If you want in, jump on here: www.getdrip.com/forms/866930862/submissions/new

We’d love to have you along for what’s next! 😄🙌🏼

Your support means so much to us. These longer episodes take a huge amount of time to film, edit & pull together, and knowing you’re watching, commenting & cheering us on truly keeps us going.

After 15 years together & 7 years engaged… we finally did it! 💍 We eloped in Las Vegas at The Little White Chapel on Thursday — yep, the one where Elvis was married!

It was a last-minute decision that turned into the most beautiful day of our lives. We had to organise everything here in the US — including our outfits —and somehow, it all came together perfectly.

In true Las Vegas style we walked through Caesars Palace (where we stayed) receiving congratulations and well-wishes from so many strangers before driving ourselves to the Neon Museum for our shoot 🥹

We also shot some pics in Downtown Old Las Vegas. For the ceremony, It was just the two of us (and our amazing photographer), standing there, completely lost in the moment. It only lasted about 10 minutes, but it was absolutely perfect. Not too many pics from the actual ceremony though… we both cried way too much 😅

Our photographer, Carrie Pollard, was incredible and captured every moment better than we could’ve imagined 🙏🏼 We ended up with thousands of photos and narrowing them down has been almost impossible! We’ve still got so many more iconic Vegas wedding shots.

We had dinner at Hell’s Kitchen to celebrate after.

We’re more in love now than ever & so excited to finally share with you what we’ve been up to 🫶🏼

PS. More pics to come 😅
