This week's video is a modern DIY desk using cement pavers for your garden and a simple wood veneer top for our newly renovated sunroom. It took a long time to figure out, and I wasn't sure if it was going to work, but I'm happy with the result!

Take a 5-minute break and officially meet our 1902 fixer upper home I'm mentioning all the time! You get to see her in all of her "before" glory!
P.S. We thought about naming her when we moved in, and never landed on anything. If there's a name that calls to you for this old soul, please share!

This week's video* is a "before" tour of our 1902 fixer upper! It's a bit of time capsule of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. And despite me living here every day, seeing the footage of everything we need to do to get our house where we want it is a little overwhelming! 😅 But we're making progress every day and that's what matters. Stay tuned!
*the DIY desk that I posted about last week is still in the works, I'm working out the kinks. 🤠

You know that DIY you've had in your head for months and then you start working on it and you realize it might be a big fail? This DIY desk might be one of those projects. 🤪 I've seen some console tables around the internet using concrete pavers and breeze blocks and decided I wanted to try to make a desk with scallop pavers. So that's what I'm doing! The jury is still out--stay tuned for next week's video!

Sharing the DIY for the rattan pelmet I created for our sunroom renovation! I used foam board instead of creating a wood box, and it turned out really well--and no one can believe this is a DIY! I'd say that's a win! Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments. Happy weekend!

This week's video is a fun DIY! I made a window pelmet out of rattan, foam board, and metal brackets for our sunroom renovation...and it turned out pretty great! Going live later today, stay tuned!

I'm still basking in our newly renovated sunroom! I still have a few things to add like a new rug, desk, and more plants, which will come in time. See the full start to finish makeover in Parts 1 and 2 in the Home Renovation playlist!

Happy Friday! Part 2 of our sunroom / nook room makeover is live! We struggled with a few tech delays and I was out of commission with a back injury, but I'm just so excited to finish this room and I love it so much. Enjoy!
