It was the year 1999

X-527 is the title of this track, also known as 5/27.
It's quite simple, I was 27 years old when I produced it and back then it was for the VA compilation ‘5 Years Kanzleramt’. Together with Johannes Heil, Heiko Laux, Christian Morgenstern, DJ Slip and other great artists.

It was the year 1998.
I produced ‘Redlight District’ for the great Detroit label ‘Direct Beat’ after they contacted me. Unfortunately the lyrics were too explicit.
At the same time, I was in contact with Pascal Feos and Alex Azary. I had contributed my vocoder vocals to their track ‘New Frontiers’ for their project ‘Aural Float’.
The idea came up to release a 12inch on their label Elektrolux and so I put together Redlight District, Destroy Him My Robots and 2 other tracks for this vinyl.

Besides "Redlight District" and "Destroy Him My Robots" the track "X-527" is another perfect time capsule of this electro phase. I produced this track for the "5 Years Kanzleramt Records" compilation, which was released in 1999.

The title "X-527" is coded with the 5 representing the five years Kanzleramt and the number 27 signifying my age at this time.
