Stu Lippa has been teaching full time for the last 25 years. He was born in NYC, grew up in Denver and now teaches Music in Phoenix
Stu holds a degree in Advanced Performance and Guitar Craft from Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music in Hollywood, Ca. He also studied Guitar Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. and attended Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, Ca.
Additionally he has a Marketing Degree from Metropolitan State University
Stu has played played Lead Guitar for tribute bands featuring the music of Alice Cooper, Journey, Judas Priest, and Van Halen and has opened shows for LA guns, Bruce Kulick, John Corabi, White Lion, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Wildside, and Jake E Lee's Red Dragon Cartel. Stu was featured in the 2016 Heavy Metal Documentary film "Hair I Go Again" as Lead Guitarist for the band "Bullet In The Chamber".

Tony Iommi emerged, armed with riffs older and heavier than your grandma's dentures. We all know the finger injury legend, but regardless, he conjured dark, evil, cool heavy metal. Asher's on this track too, because why not? Asher's shredding it in Tempe tonight! Found this gem on YouTube; he clearly knows the song, having fronted a Sabbath tribute band.
