My job is to make people reminisce about games they've played in the past, and even bring attention to ones they may have overlooked as well.

I call myself a 2.5D gamer, because I love to play games from the 2D and 3D eras. I'm torn in between them, so I'm stuck in 2.5D. Not quite 2D not Quite 3D.

I'm just as likely to play my NES as I am current gen games. I play games for their gameplay, and don't care about their graphics.

A question for Youtubers, what brand of internal, or external video capture card do you use? I only have 4 options, so if it's another brand (Happauge, generic amazon capture card, and etc.) leave a comment

My phone was freezing up earlier to the point that I had to restart it. Screen would freeze, buttons froze, nothing worked. After I restarted my phone, I found four games installed on it that weren't there before and that I didn't download. How is it legal for tech companies to forcefully download apps to your phone or PC that you never wanted, will never use, are definitely stealing your data, and that you instantly have to uninstall? If people wonder why I refuse to "upgrade" to Windows 11, stuff like this is why. I have to deal with it on my phone, but I'm not going to deal with it on my PC where I dual-booted Windows 10 Pro and Linux Mint. I'm sick of these tech companies.

The only time government's even go after big tech is when they want access to the data they steal so they can illegally spy on their own citizens. Consumer protection no longer exists anymore, so best do what you can to protect yourself and your data.

For some reason I have been watching a lot of PC tech channels as of late, and have been obsessively searching Ebay looking for deals on budget PC's for PC gaming. My thought is: if you're going to buy a gaming PC that displays games at worse fidelity than a PS5 or Series X but costs more, just buy the console for gaming. However, if you spend less than the price of even a used PS5 on gamestop for your gaming rig ($427-$450), and can still play most of the titles the PS5 can play, even at lower fidelity and higher frame rates, then it's worth the money. Basically I was wondering if I could build a $300 gaming rig for say, your little brother or your son who wants to play Minecraft, Fortnite, and Roblox. I found this Alienware deal here for anyone interested: www.ebay.com/itm/177419964323?_trkparms=amclksrc%3…

What I like about it is the 8th gen i7 is Windows 11 compatible for those that care about that (I don't), and is still a very capable processor despite what a lot of out-of-touch Tech Youtubers and Reddit Posters will tell you. The GTX 1070 is still a very capable card, but it's lack of Ray Tracing means you won't be able to play some of the newest titles like Indianna Jones, and Doom the Dark Souls which require Ray Tracing. However, there are still thousands of games it is capable of playing. It is on the chopping block for new driver support from Nvidia, but it will still play the crap out of E-sports titles (Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, Dota 2, CS2, Valorant, etc.). You can always upgrade the GPU later.

I was pricing out a simple $300 Optiplex Build with an RTX 3050 6gb, but sometimes you can find great deals on these old Alienware PC's. They come with higher wattage PSU's which allows for better GPU's to be used in them. Their Thermals are usually terrible, but you can open the side panel if you need to.

NOTE: When searching Ebay, if the price is too good to be true, and the seller has Zero feedback, Don't trust the listing. It's a possible scam. Always check a Seller's feedback when purchasing items on Ebay.

Out of these choices, which do you consider the best YouTube alternative for uploading videos? If it's another one, post a comment.
