Part 1!🕸️

It was a windy afternoon, unusual in this area. The leaves of the nearby trees were blowing gently like waiting for something to happen. Birds were flying in the sky. Everything seemed normal but there was still an eerie feeling that was unsettling.

"I really don't want to do this right now...." Liora trailed off, shivering slightly from the wind.
"Oh come on scaredy cat, you can handle a little bit of fright right?" Kaz joked, gently shoving her arm.
"Look....I'm only here because you dragged me out of my bed, and I don't want to explore....this....with you of all people!" Liora said, annoyed.
"I'm not the only one....there's my younger brother, my best friend and your best friend, alright! No one told you to explore 'this' with me!" Kaz said.
"Fine whatever....just stay away from me!" Liora said, shoving past Kaz.

A haunted theme park lay infront of them, abandoned 5 years ago. All of it's rides were either broken or missing. The whole place was black and gray. The trees inside the park had no leaves at all....strange posters plastered to wood surfaces were also haunting the park. Rumours were that the park was shut down 5 years ago because many kids fell off the rides and died....or went missing entirely. Some kids were found brutally stabbed through the neck or chest in corners of the huge park. And as soon as the clock hit midnight, the cries or laughter could be heard of the murdered or missing children.

"Well, I'm excited to explore this 'haunted' park, aren't you, Liora?" Rojix asked intently, Liora's best friend Rojix was not a believer of ghosts and neither was Liora....but she wouldn't test it.
"Not if I have to explore it with 'them'! Liora said, and pointed towards Kaz, Andrew and Kaz's little brother Kaixa.
"Oh come on! What's wrong with us, darling?" Kaixa teased Liora with a smirk.
"Everything's wrong with you all....to be honest, I don't know what's even right with you all! You all have lost your minds to explore this!" Liora said, accusingly.
"I thought you didn't believe in ghosts? Now what? You're even afraid to say 'Haunted Distopian Park'? Why do you keep saying 'this' huh? Andrew teased Liora.
"Well....I'll show you all that I'm not afraid by exploring....the 'Haunted Distopian Park' alone! Yeah, you heard me....alone!!" Liora half shouted, not finding the courage in herself to fully say it.

And with that vow, Liora stormed into the park alone, the others following close behind her.
