I've been really wanting to play some GameBoy games and have been looking at getting something smaller and more pocket-able than the Steam Deck.
I've settled (for now) on the Anbernic RG35XX. Lots of hype around this and the Miyoo Mini Plus and it was a tough choice between them.
So far, I'm really liking it! I really like the size, the way the ABXY buttons feel, and the d-pad is decent as well.
The SD card that came with it already had GarlicOS installed which is plus. The way you can instantly just resume your recently played games is really cool and convenient.
I just ordered a 128GB micro SD card to replace the stock one (I've read that they ones that come with these devices are cheap and tend to fail). I don't like how the games are organized with numbers in front of them, so I'd eventually like to fix that and the artwork. Some games have artwork, most if it is wrong, and a lot of them don't have anything.
All of this to say that I really like it! After a bit of work it'll be even better! Expect a video at some point!
This is the first video that I've done like this where I've tried to record a bunch of b-roll and show off several different products. It was a learning experience for me, for sure, and hopefully the next time I attempt something like this, I can make it even better! I know I still have a ton to learn.

The refurbished 64GB Steam Decks on the Steam store are sold out for now - but what do you think about them selling refurbished decks? The 64GB model is ONLY $319! If you can get one at that price, that's a great deal!! If you don't have one, does this make you want one?
I got a really good comment on yesterdays video talking about how Valve's business strategy is just 'not-being-a-dick' and that reminded me of why I appreciate Valve. I know they're out to make a profit as most big corporations are, but when they do things like this, as well as support repairability in the deck - it's why I pay attention and care about what they're doing with the Steam Deck!
