I've finished the script for the next project. It was supposed to be a shorter video, but I accidentally wrote 15 paragraphs. For referance, 'The Britannic Movie Still Sucks' was 10. This means it will probably take a long time to edit.
YouTube’s terrible copyright system has forced me to delay the video until I can get the claims disputed or edit the video to remove the footage claimed. I don’t know why I was claimed for muted footage cut up out of order with added commentary, since I’ve used the same strategy to avoid copyright claims in the past and have been successful up to this point, but fair use laws don’t seem to apply on YouTube anymore with people abusing the system. Unfortunately, there is no easy way for me to remove the footage used without negatively effecting the video. I’ve disputed both claims on the basis of fair use (you know, because I need footage from the movie to provide proper context to my commentary) and all I can do at this point is wait.
After months of little to no time dedicated towards this channel as a result of school and other personal endeavors, I will finally be able to continue work on some projects I’ve had in the backlog for almost a year now. I already have 2 videos scripts complete and 1 recorded. Expect a new video coming in may or early June at the latest. Unfortunately, I am not currently monetizing videos, so YouTube isn’t particularly keen on boosting them in the algorithm. Expect teasers on my instagram (theshipenthusiast_rg) starting soon.
I've seen some comments asking when I plan on starting "Second Class Accommodations on Britannic." While I do intend on working on this project eventually, I would prefer to focus on other smaller projects while in school, and work on the bigger project during my summer breaks. I have multiple videos planned that I would like to work on on before I make another massive project like that.

-Titanic Wreck: Deterioration Timeline. (Series) -The Definitive Top 10 Ocean Liners. [Feat. Stephen Clan] -The Britannic Movie Still Sucks.
I do hope 2024 will be a more active year for the channel, but only time will tell.
I’ve been thinking about breaking into the “shorts” side of YouTube to further grow my channel. Because shorts are easier to produce, I can post them more often, which works better for my current school situation. (I’ll still work on main line videos of course.)
